Cheers, it was a good day. Don't get sunshine often here lol. A couple of decent shots on a high pigeon & crow. Not so many pigeons in Ireland but plenty of corvids. A few decent right & lefts made the day memorable. Well some of the first shots weren't the most difficult, but as you said after the first shot the jackdaws can be difficult when they wheel. Thanks for the comments lads.

Please see below my latest video from Thursday 30th July. The field is standing corn and the bottom of the field has been totally destroyed mainly from corvids. It was tricky to shoot as there was a road running up the left side of the field, so some of my shots were restricted and a lot of the birds I had to shoot close as I couldn't shoot them as incommers. My shooting was very poor at the start but improved as the day went on and I finished with a bag of 50 birds. Thanks for watching:

I'm hopefully heading out tomorrow for a look. Seen one field recently where numbers were building but I'm not allowed to shoot until it's cut & then it is a lottery to get on it before someone else!!!

The flight line was mainly from below & this is where the feeder had been situated. When don't get sun too much in Ireland so never take it into account 😂😂 Cheers al. Have you been out at the pigeons yet? Thanks for the feedback everyone!!!

I agree Steve, if you look at the rest of my vids I don't have music but I thought I would try it for a change. Yeah they aren't too difficult to decoy, but tricky to shoot sometimes.

Here is a video of some corvid decoying from a couple of weeks ago. They were decimating the sheep feed for a few days. Started off great for the first few hours & we quickly racked up 80, it took us then a while to get to the 100, ending the day with 101 corvids & 1 pigeon. Thanks for watching:

2 people shooting in a hide is fair enough if you stick to your own side, so yourself & your mate needa be singing of the same hymn sheet. On a positive note your shooting has improved so much in the past year or so. Keep the vids coming!!!

I shot a few like this recently and I assumed it was liver fluke so I threw them away. Like Bibbob said these were on younger rabbits so perhaps it was his suggestion. The place I shot them from is overrun with bunnies & it was only 2 out of 20 shot that had this.

My mate needs a set of 25mm mounts for his .22 magnum. Any suggestions? I use warne mounts on my centrefire, but do you think this would be overkill on a magnum? The rifle isn't moderated.

The last time I went out there was fellas catching all around me & I tried every type of fly without success. Knocked my confidence a bit & haven't been out since. Yes hopefully this year is better for pigeons, couldn't be much worse.

Well dr how is the form? The mojo decoys are battery operated as far as I know.

Well done for having the courage to go & complain. Any police I ever had dealings with while shooting seem to be clueless about shooting & the laws so training is def needed.

Saw today on Facebook that someone had bought crow & pigeon mojo decoys. I know the duck ones work ok but has anyone ever used the crow or pigeon ones to good effect?
