It just shows how backward & stuck in their ways that some of our politicians are. Danger mouse: my job is directly involved in weddings and I can assure you that it's not outdated, it's more busy now than it always was.

I have used nothing but a nightmaster red led the last few years & have shot plenty of foxes. You still get the odd lamp shy one, but I certainly find the red led better than a white light.

When I'm rough shooting I have the camera on constant & I'll change the batteries half way through the day, so id say a couple of hours. When I'm decoying the camera is on & off depending how busy the day is.

The one I have was 50 quid from china. I bought a gopro head strap to mount it on for 15 quid, a spare battery for 6 quid & a memory card for 12 quid. So less than 100 quid.

I have the sj1000 which is an earlier model & it's spot on. Obviously not gopro quality but good value for money. Here is one of my vids I made last year: Please post your salmon fishing video when you get it.

On the shooting show episode tonight they showed eley are launching a new pigeon shell. Anyone tried them?

Thanks for the advice but that all sounds very complicated to me 😂😂. I'll have to read up a bit of dry fly fishing as I'm not the most confident at the moment. The fishery I go to seem to be mainly catching on buzzers at the minute. Anyone any ideas what type of flies I should be purchasing?

The field behind my dad's house has horses. As soon as dad turned the mower on they would be at the wall looking for cuttings.

Strauss is a bitter so & so. They give strauss a top job in the ecb after slagging pietersen off on live tv last summer!!! They sacked pietersen after the last ashes tour even though he was the highest run scorer!!! They talk about trust in the dressing room; what about the current England players that were involved in the kp paradoy twitter account while they he was still on the team. Pietersen is by no way innocent, but it seems one rule for him & one rule for others. Who would the supporters rather see this summer; ballance coming in at 4 & scoring about 15 from 90 balls or pietersen coming in and scoring at a run a ball? Aside from root, no other batsmen in the current team is worthy of their place!!!

Just bought a 9 foot airflo kit from the bay. Comes with reel floating line, flies, sunglasses etc. means I will have 2 reels with different lines. Thanks for the advice.

My wee man is only 8 months old, so a little too young yet; however, I can't wait to get him involved in shooting. When I was a child my Father took me out in the field from about the age of 4; he taught me safety with firearms and more importantly respect for how dangerous they can be. I intend in bringing my son up the same and hopefully he will love fieldsports as much as I do!!!

Not maybe my weirdest experience but certainly one to cherish. Last September I was decoying drilling & I dropped a feral pigeon, I bent down to get another shell, heard a woosh & thump and looked over the hide to see a peragrine away with my bird. Caught it on camera about half way through the below video:

My .223 is really heavy because of a stainless barrel, mod & thumbhole stock, so without the bipod it would be really difficult to take shots freehand or on posts. Since I got the bipod I've barely missed.

I have an ambidextrous thumbhole stock on my howa 1500 .223. Got the stock from highland outdoors as the plastic stock was rubbish. Gun is spot on now though.

I have the tall one of these & I must say they are great. I have mine on my .223 & it means I can take sitting & kneeling shots while lamping. I wouldn't be without it now.

Manny only really rocked him once in the forth round when he had Mayweather on the ropes. Aside from that (as you said) he couldn't get through the defence; he was throwing all these combos & the crowd were going nuts but they weren't actually connecting.
