Yeh i got a lot of good shooting at woodcock and phesants over xmas. I was shooting really well at the time.

If well trained a springer is your best bet, i wouldn't use anything else. but as someone already said they are hard to train.

I find clay shooting doesn't help you at all when your out in the field.

A flask of tea and sandwiches. but the most important thing i think is a good sharp penknife, you never know when your gonna need it.

The weak spot is near the base of their spine almost where their tail starts. its also a good way to dispatch of injured woodies they die in a matter of seconds when you press on this weak spot.

Well pigeon shooting and rough shooting is probably my main forms of shooting and i always use a 12 bore although some people might prefer a 20 bore. I like 12 bore because when you hit something with it, it usually goes down.

I know its a long shot but i've only noticed your post and I was wondering if your still selling that nite eye scope?Would it be suitable for a Bruno .22 magnum rimfire?What price are you selling it for?What is your reason for selling it?

I suggest finding out the flight line of the rooks and have a morning flight. Me and my mate did this last year as my dad was having terrible problems with rooks eating his pheasant feeding. So what we did was get on the flight line about 45mins before sunrise and shoot them going to feed, we shot a pile of birds this way.

Most lagers (but give me a cold pint of Carlsberg any day and I will be a very happy man) . I also like cider with ice . Sometimes I like to indulge in a bit of vodka.
