Evening All, So long story short I organised a shoot day for a team and it was no where near acceptable - - The bag was supposed to be 150 birds and we didn't even have 30 shots - one of the guns didn't even fire a shot - They had 5 beaters including the keeper who was carrying a gun in the beating line and seemed to have more shooting than us. - There were no stops or flags and at one point we watched the a number of birds walk through the gun line - The keeper told us this was the first day to shoot some of the drives but one of the pickers up said they did the same drives on a walked up day the day before No one tipped the keeper but after talking to the team we would like a refund as the day was nowhere near like described, this has been denied by the shoot is there anything we can do? Just looked at past payments, last month it was only £26 for the same booking... They never seem busy, I can't see doubling the price will help that...

Just booked into shoot at Bisley on Sunday for the afternoon... It's cost £50... Seems a bit steep? When did their prices go up? Not sure its worth it....

How come? Gunstar seems to have more guns?

Hi all, I'm meant to be shooting at Lydd ranges tomorrow with the FCSA.... but haven't been sent any details on how to get onto the complex... can someone help? We are shooting on Serial 45 but I'm guessing i'll need to go to a gate house somewhere to get in?

Pellet will still be rising at 15 yards check at 20 and it will probably be high.

Does any one know how shooting writers get hold rifles for reviews and tests? Shotguns and air rifles are easy as they can add and remove them from there license as they wish or are freely available, however rifles would require a variation? Surely that would be a ball ache with the huge waiting waiting times? Matt

Are there any climbers on here? I've been climbing for just over a year now and love it! 100 times more fun than the gym and the indoor wall gives me something to do on the cold rainy days when shootings not an option! Matt.

Can anyone recommend someone to reblue and service a hubertus O/U, it's also got a sticky ejector which needs seeing too... Local to West Sussex would be good! Matt
