the farmer had been told that someone was shooting at their house. he rents some land of this other chap so he said he didn't want anyone shooting on his anymore to keep this other chap sweet.

it was a bitter sweet day yesterday, lost a permission that was over run with pigeon, squirrel and fox. but have gained and that has rabbits the odd pigeon and some fox. suppose all is not bad, but I was gutted when they told me!

I find the same thing, have had them called out on me twice on me. not for doing anything wrong, but by 2 separate people: one a tree hugger and the other only liked to hunt with dogs and said shooting was cruel! after a quick chat with the police it was all resolved and never had a problem since(touch wood) ;D

preferably the denby dale side of Huddersfield. I shoot for a local farm and stable, but am looking for a little bit more and so that the land doesn't get over shot and its nice to be able to walk around a different part of the countryside. I am fully insured and have both SGC and FAC and am very grateful for any help/advice offered. cheers

pump or semi?

been sorting out some old gear a friend gave me and I found these 12 bore cartridges. they are all paper cases. I have 7 in total: 3 x special smokeless no.1 standard load made by greenwood & Batley LTD Leeds & Earnham Yorks 1 x International trap and game no.5 shot from Guns international of Barnsley 1 x 3" Eley Alphamax no.6 shot high velocity long range smokless 1 x Eley special trap shooting cartridge no.7 shot 1 x Eley trapshooting no.7 shot bras has split the pictures are too big for me to upload, but I can send them out to anyone that can help cheers
