  14. Was set up at an earth on monday evening as Id seen sings of cubs earlier. As the eveving light faded three cubs appeared and after a wait they settled and i shot two of them, shortly after two more appeared but could not get a safe shot as I was bordering on to a non permission. I left for another earth without photoing cubs, had picked both and deposited in dyke. went other permission and called for camera on way.Nothing happening so back to first one. Both cubs had gone,no signs of flattening of grass etc and no known badger sets within two miles. Where had they gone to. do the mama and papa bears eat them.Ive shot for over 45 yrs and never lost cubs like this.

  17. My mate and I have been shooting steel(mirage no 4 ) at duck for a number of years now and have no problem with 35 yds plus birds. at the pigeons we are using both 24 grams and 28 grams steel (mirage ) as an experiment and up until now theres been no problem. we both shoot tight chokes and have very few well shot birds. The cost for me doesnt come into it because i normally shoot trap loads in 28 grams anyway. (mirage £130.00 lead , mirage £136.00 steel.) as someone has said dont knock it. I ve read the ST report and agree with 99% of it.

  23. The law in Scotland (Strathclyde) says that if you are the landowner and have SGC/FAC you may let an uncertified person use a gun in their company, someone with the shooting rights is not the owner and does not qualify so some one under their supervision is illegal and also not insured. It rip my ******* knitting to see people who are supposedly teaching non holders the works when they appeared to not have a clue themselves. RANT over and am willing to be corrected if wrong.
  24. If the guy in the video was a first timer he will be good when he get s a bit of experience behind him, You must be the best clay coach ever coaching from the trap seat. The novice is not even standing correctly. Does the novice have a shotgun certificate.
