  1. Certainly a different view of Lough Neagh than you usually give us. Some good shooting there, well done.๐Ÿ‘ I am a subscriber on your You Tube, but we appreciate you posting on here as well.
  2. Seen it on You Tube, but always worth a second look.๐Ÿ‘
  3. The increase in car insurance premiums is almost a national scandal. Because every company is doing it, price comparison and moaning about it, is almost a waste of time. My vehicle renewal came up late November last year, my wife is a named driver, but hasn't driven since Covid and is unlikely to drive again. I had the renewal quote, we then decided to remove her from the insurance and the premium increased by about ยฃ75. I hadn't expected much of a decrease, but I did not expect an increase. How does that work out ? We immediately put her back on.๐Ÿ™‚
  4. I agree, it can spoil watching them. David Jason is probably the most versatile actor, for being able to become whatever character he plays.
  5. Just in case Deep Trout is a serious new member, HITACHI HDC-651E INSTRUCTION MANUAL Pdf Download | ManualsLib
  6. Testingโ€ฆ.testingโ€ฆ. - Off Topic - Pigeon Watch Forums There are problems with the server that are being sorted out. This thread refers.
  7. I have seen something similar in northern France, where the guns had built hides in the tops of trees, consisting of wooden floors and then wire "walls" plus camo netting. They had plastic full bodies decoys all around and one or two live birds tethered on poles, on a perch. When they pulled the string the perch moved and the bird flew up and landed again (bit like a tree fitted flapper). The brothers involved had about 4 - 5 hides covering a 50+ acre woodland and they shot there at roost time. This was all before electronic flappers, rotarys, etc., I have no idea if they still use live birds, but I would have thought a flapper would do as good a job.
  8. Its Teal's decision, as its his Forum. With a new Server on the horizon there will be an unexpected cost . Rather than paying a subscription, or joining fee, to gain access, its probably better to make available a voluntary donation button on the Forum. Members could then donate what they want (if anything) and when they want. This would not affect their access either way.
  9. I followed your progress with interest, as did many others. You have done well and I certainly agree with your comment that the woodworking was therapeutic. I worked on old no name Spanish sbs many years ago, for almost a year, some of the mechanics were beyond my ability, but I concentrated on the appearance. It ended up as a wall hanger and quite a good looking one.๐Ÿ˜Š Immense satisfaction.
  10. In a sporting goods shop in Apalachicola on the Florida panhandle, the female owner congratulated me on my perfect English, I pointed out that I was English. She replied, "Oh, I didn't realise that". ๐Ÿ™„
  11. Top class as usual, you have certainly got some fine equipment.๐Ÿ‘ It would be interesting sometime to see a video of a walk through your armoury.
  12. Good luck to the lad, I think he could be around for a few years. Perhaps his "girlfriend" won't be.๐Ÿ™„ Its been some time since I last watched aa darts tournament, but I remember the call, "best of order now please". Darts were thrown in almost silence. Tonight there was chanting, song singing and insults shouted. How things change.
  13. His success has certainly given darts a publicity boost, record viewing figures apparently and lots of newspaper coverage. We may even see Bullseye resurrected. ๐Ÿ™‚
  14. There are many members that support Konor's comments and would like clarification from BASC. Posting on the Forum is the best way for BASC to respond, I am sure Conor doesn't want everyone phoning him (then he would be very busy).
  15. Nice to see you are still around YP, take care of yourself.๐Ÿ‘
  16. All good memories, for us as well as you.๐Ÿ‘ Best wishes for the coming year and thanks for posting.
  17. I understand that all knee issues produce various levels of pain and discomfort. Having had both my knees replaced, one 18 years ago and one 15 years ago, (they do last longer than 10 years) , I sympathise with anyone experiencing the higher levels. The lack of mobility, permanent pain , even when sleeping, shuffling up stairs on your backside, are all things you don't need. In my experience arthroscopies ( I had 8 across both knees) are just delaying ops and all medications tried are either short term, or don't work at all. The relief and immediate improvement in my quality of life after each replacement was astounding. Its the operation that I would recommend any sufferer to get, either by pressuring your NHS provider, or getting a Bank loan, even if you have to rob the Bank.๐Ÿ˜Š
  18. The old practise of arthroscopies have finally been exposed as a waste of time (and money), I had six in my right knee before they replaced the joint. old'un is right steroid injections and physio seems to be the current approach.
  19. As I said, it is the Hushpower system on the gun that does most of the work, not the cartridge.
  20. You will pay extra for Hushpower cartridges in 4.10 and 20ga. Having used both in Hushpower guns, I have found the difference in noise between the Hushpower/subsonic cartridge and a normal felt wad cartridge to be very small. If you are going to be doing a lot of shooting with a Hushpower, its worth bearing this in mind. There are threads on here from the past on this subject.
  21. Well done. Birds coming into windy woods, provide probably the best shots you can get. Every one shot is a good one.
  22. If he can't make it there, he can't make it anywhere.

    Nord VPN

Thanks for all the comments. I have downloaded NordVPN and am currently in Tenerife on my laptop, watching SuperSunday on SkyGo, with Liverpool v Man Utd about to start. So far I have nothing but good things to say about it.

    Nord VPN

Has anyone got Nord VPN, Pros and Cons ? Thinking of putting it on my laptop (Win 11) to make viewing UK tv, especially sports, easier when travelling abroad.
  25. Another great video, thanks for posting.๐Ÿ‘ I noticed the left eye shooting in this video, I think I have noticed it before.
