  1. Another great video, thanks for posting.πŸ‘ I noticed the left eye shooting in this video, I think I have noticed it before.
  2. A nice "informal" Syndicate, they are the best. Some nice birds there. It was good to see Ted have a retrieve and it does seem that a new young dog will spark up an old dog. You only need one more to qualify them as a pack.πŸ™‚
  3. I also cannot understand Cameron being brought back into the Government, unless its a peace sign to the Tory Right after Braverman's sacking. Sunak may have seriously damaged his credibility by doing this. However, DaveG is right, the assistance he has pledged to the Ukraine was already on the table, so its nothing new.
  4. A nice video, as usual, its good to see Ted is still coming out with you. πŸ‘
  5. I have Win 11 and (like everyone else) have been getting the notifications from MS that Outlook is replacing Windows Mail in 2024. Having looked into it, I have decided I do not want to use Outlook. Can anyone recommend a good email "client" as an alternative ?. I have a GMail account, but my main email is via btinternet.com and I want to keep this address. Em Client looks a strong possibility.
  6. I have witnessed this scenario on quite a few early Winters in the past. Abnormally large flocks for our area, usually a few thousand and very spooky. When disturbed they take off and fly very high (for pigeons), this makes me think they are migrants. They usually are around for a couple of weeks and then disappear, I assumed they broke up and/or probably moved up country.
  7. Its days like this that I wish I didn't live perched on the cliffs, with an uninterrupted view across the Channel to France. It was low tide first thing (7am) and we had very high winds, torrential rain and the seas were just white foam as far as we could see. The tide is now turning and the wind (now 40+mph) and rain has moderated, but the seas are very rough and looking at the radar it seems we are experiencing a lull, with more **** to follow. Guarantee there will be structural damage and flooding in Kent somewhere. Its seems to be very concentrated along the southern coast and France.
  8. In his position, I would consider selling the property and then renting something smaller, like an apartment. He can then do what he wants with the equity, having made provision for lease costs. Equity release, or life time mortgages are designed to make someone a lot of money and it ain't the owner.
  9. Excellent video, as usual.πŸ‘ I agree with your comment about "fox calling" , it can work, but some areas I know have been ruined by constant calling. Foxes seem to be scared off, rather than attracted, plus it can T-off the neighbours. I suppose its a bit like over decoying can spook birds, rather than bring them in.
  10. I started with a mossburg pump Hushpower, but switched to an O/U Hushpower, as the Mossy length made it front heavy for me and difficult to swing. The O/U comes up much better and I was quite happy using Gamebore Competition Hushpower in No5. I would also add that it was sometimes difficult to tell the difference in sound from the Hushpower cartridge and a standard 20ga cartridge, especially on windy/noisy days.
  11. Very true words and more arriving daily. If this lot ever really kick off, we will have a massive problem.
  12. Until this type of "boxing" event comes under the control of the British Boxing Board of Control, it can only be considered a circus entertainment event. "Tag Team boxing" ? Bring in the clowns.πŸ™„ Fury gets fights because of his name, , he belongs at this level.
  13. A good day out, well done. Its surprising (to some) just how effective a .410 , with the right cartridges, is when decoying up to 30yards.
  14. Not good news. They will/should have a photo of your vehicle with the time and date of the crossing. Its probable they will have found your address via the DVLC, and any delay you made in notifying the DVLC, will have had an effect on the delay in serving you this notice. The small print on the T&C's will spell out the acceleration rate of the charge, so its probably all legit. Consult a Solicitor, Citizens Advice, or try spelling out the circumstances to the Enforcement Agency and plead for mercy. I don't think your predicament is anything to do with the Conservative Party , or the Government, despite what some posters think.πŸ™‚
  15. Superb photgraphy as always, I love your "teasing" titles too.πŸ™‚ That third pic is certainly showing some attitude.
  16. I watch your videos on You Tube, always a good viewing.πŸ‘
  17. You have certainly got some nice gear available to you nowadays. Long gone are the days when I nightly performed at the pig farm, with my Diana Original Mk3 .177 and my little brother held the torch.πŸ™‚
  18. We are pleased you post your videos here and I follow you on You Tube as well. Yours are top class videos and always a pleasure to watch.πŸ‘
  19. Quality content as usual, thanks for posting. Its been a pleasure watching Jack and I also hope he has a long and happy retirement.πŸ‘
  20. Very impressive, good to see the dog walk into the water confidently. I hate seeing "trained" dogs running and jumping into water, a good friend had his lab killed when he fell on to a submerged fence spike.
  21. Blind retrieves always give you great satisfaction and pride in your dog. I had a springer that excelled at blind retrieves, I am not sure whether she had an exceptional nose, or was just plain obstinate, I can't remember her ever returning without the game. At a Field Trial she "wiped the eye" of the Trial favourite, with a blind retrieve on a pricked hen.
  22. High standard, as usual. The Shooter's mantra, "its good to be out" .πŸ™‚
  23. I have run out of good things to say.πŸ˜‰ Thanks for posting.πŸ‘
