  1. Well done, if they want that feed bad enough, they will be back. Nice report, good read.👍
  2. I would concentrate on the knee replacement as being the best pain relief available. The five year waiting list you have been quoted sounds a lot, I would ask your Doctor to prioritise your requirements because of the pain affecting your sleep and the mobility restrictions affecting your quality of life (plus anything else you can throw in). NHS have access to private intervention if the needs justify it.
  3. Once again patience pays. Good shooting and its nice to see Jack out again.
  4. Thats a lovely picture, something he will never forget.
  5. Tesco and Sainsbury are fairly competitive and you can collect the cash. I would not be happy to have a large amount of cash posted to me. Incidentally, if you use Tesco or Sainsbury, then you check your card statement, you will see the transaction was handled by FX.
  6. Top quality as usual, you certainly put the time in and are patient , also nice to see Jack.
  7. Has anyone else noticed the increase of the words "look", or "listen", at the beginning of a sentence in any discussion. For me it started with Rio Fedinand in his football punditry some months ago, it then spread to other pundits, not only on TV, but also on the radio (TalkSport). Now I am also hearing it on non sports discussions and news programme interviews. Its like a "tic", often having no bearing on the conversation.
  8. Always enjoyable, thanks for posting.👍
  9. Certainly got some action there, I catch his videos on YouTube (jacko3275). Like Old Boggy, I have never had any luck on linseed, from drilling to harvesting, a few passing birds, but that was all. Perhaps its a Kentish thing. 🙂
  10. Good luck, I hope the quality has improved. I bought a pair a few years ago and the heel came away from the boot, for no reason.
  11. I have been overseas for a few months and have been binge watching your videos to catch up. Every one is brilliant, thanks for posting.👍
  12. Nice one David, thats the way to stick it to them, much better than all this taking the knee, wearing arm bands, etc., 😀
  13. Thanks for another great video.👍 I sympathise with the cold hands. If my head, feet, or hands get too cold, I can't shoot straight. I always have spare headgear, socks and gloves in the (aptly named} glove box. Have a nice Christmas break and we look forward to your next outing.
  14. I can appreciate your frustration Steve, but I can also agree with HSBC, I would never enter into a currency transaction without a verified email addy and a verified telephone number. Thats a lot of money to risk to save £13.00.

    England

I generally feel we were unlucky, France were not overall the better team. They had some good moments and so did we. Harry Kane missing the penalty was unbelievable, if that had gone in it would have probably been extra time and who knows what would have happened then.
  16. There have always been private dodgy sellers and buyers on eBay and eBay's attitude of ignoring complaints has never changed. Although I have never been scammed, I haven't bought from private sellers for years. Friends tell me that FreeAds is a good alternative.
  17. Excellent viewing as usual, I also never get tired of seeing rats shot. Thankfully, you shoot soon after sighting the rat, so I am not holding my breath for too long (old habits die hard).🙂
  18. I also hope there is someone who will give Lady Susan a big hug, just imagine how upset and confused she will be over all this. She shouldn't have been put in this minefield that most of us struggle to navigate.
  19. Another good one gone, very sad, a great talent. RIP.👼
  20. The fact that the Lady is 83 years old probably played some part in the episode. The fact that the offended was dressed up in what appears to be an exotic national costume definitely contributed. Its a classic case of, "if I can be offended then I will be". Also, good publicity for the "Charity", which nobody had ever heard of.
  21. I had a right knee replacement in 2005 (17 years ago) and my left knee replaced in 2010 (12 years ago). Early knee replacements back in 80's 90's did mostly last about 10 years, but the improvement in the procedure that came in the 2020's increased their longevity. I have always had full movement in my legs following these operations , with no restrictions at all. Its important to do the full physio exercises as instructed. Failure to do this could cause some atrophy of the muscles. Mine still feel like new and give me no problems.
  22. Thats a first for me, seeing someone zero check a rifle on a fly, nice shot.🙂 The world through a night scope is always a bit magical to me. All my dogs preferred to be with me, rather than staying at home, I think Jack is no different. As they got older I just had to pick easy days for them to come. Thanks for posting.
  23. Good luck with the move, it sounds like you are going home.👍
  24. Its interesting that the 24/7 security outside the designated hotels in our area, are all of a nationality that would have no problem talking to the "guests" in their own language(s) . Their grasp of English is a different matter.
  25. If you can afford a second home, I am not sure that additional council tax would be a problem. I agree with the previous comments that there always seems to be an undeserved outcry against anyone who has worked hard and pays their way.
