If you can afford a second home, I am not sure that additional council tax would be a problem. I agree with the previous comments that there always seems to be an undeserved outcry against anyone who has worked hard and pays their way.

I know a few members make their own sloe gin, I have been fortune enough to get my hands on some over the years. However, I am now looking for recommendations for "shop bought" sloe gin. There seems to be quite a few options out there, but can anyone vouch for something that tastes like the "real thing" ?

I have heard that it usually takes up to a week, so I would believe him. When I last changed, it was up to expected speed within 2 days.

Excellent shooting as usual, imagine how many rats would be there if you were not controlling them. That is a very nice scope, I can understand your enthusiasm.

The only chance the Conservative Party has to survive, is to elect a new Prime Minister and give them 100% support. Sunkak, Mordaunt and Wallace are all good options and credible, if surrounded by a strong Cabinet. Sadly, IMO Boris has no credibility, he is far too tainted.

We need to know whats going on in the world, but these morons thrive on the publicity, just love getting their pictures in the papers, on YouTube, etc.. The Courts should come down hard on them, may need a few new laws to be passed, but they would eventually get fed up going to prison.

Please explain to me how anyone knows I go shooting, or who I am personally, my address, or other personal details. Some years ago I found quite a few "high brass" cartridges, aimed at the wildfowling market. Most were Eley Alphamax, Hymax , Maximum ,some US brand Western, Sellier Bellot and even a few where the print had worn off, but were yellow cases. I used them through a semi auto, mostly on high crows and pigeons (not wildfowl, being lead shot). I regret not even keeping the empty shells, just another example of being wise after the event.

Clearly, we are not the only country with this problem, elections elsewhere with result swinging toward right wing parties, are evidence that other populations are getting fed up with it. We have friends in France living just north of Paris and they say there has always been a small enclave in the city of immigrants, but now it has spread tremendously, with lots of no go areas, increases in daylight street crime, etc.

I have used it with no problems for years and will continue to do so. Their intention not to have customers/account holders who propagate false information, racist, non inclusive , otherwise radical, violent views, etc. etc, is their business. They are not talking about me, or about 99% of their customers. It is noted that they have withdrawn this addition to their Terms and Conditions.

On Monday morning and this morning we spotted a very large empty black "dinghy" floating 100 yards or so off the Leas at Folkestone. Rang the Coastguard on Monday and they sent a rib to get it. When I rang this morning to report the second one, the lady said that they had been so busy over the last weekend, they were unable to bring all the dinghys in, apparently they were being reported from Deal to Rye. There is also a hotel not far from us that is housing illegal immigrants and its has "security" at every entrance and exit 24/7. When asked, one said that it was to keep people out, not keep the residents in. It was also irritating to locals that observed three people getting out of a large people carrier, with the obligatory lanyards round their necks, asking for help with some parcels. Six residents emerged and help carry 20 of the biggest carrier bags you have ever seen, marked Primark. All new clothes for the lads.

Its ironic that when they say "look", they really mean "listen". Watch Rio Ferdinand on BTSport, his every sentence starts "look".

Top quality as usual.👍 The comparison between the scopes was interesting and the Hicmicro did seem sharper at those ranges. The advance in shooting optics over the last 10 years has been quite amazing.

Some good shooting and your dogs worked well in the dark. Not the usual deer stalking video. We have to remember that samba deer are considered invasive species in parts of Australia, vermin clearance is the game I can recall seeing videos some years ago of them being shot from small helicopters.

Poor condition is often the main reason for the guns to be sold cheaply. I viewed a lot of shotguns at auctions in Kent and outer London sales and 80+% of them (despite good names), were no better than fence posts. Viewing is essential, catalogue descriptions are not to be relied upon, be prepared to be disappointed if you buy "blind". A lot of the rubbish ends up being wall hangers for decorators, especially hammer sbs.

I have the same problem with supermarket vouchers.🙂

The only consolation after watching that circus, is that there is someone there in a white coat to take the moron away.
