Axe, I guess this is to replace all the JFK conspiracy theories that were finally put to bed years later! I have seen stuff like this before and the expanation was that the plane more or less vaporised, but that doesn't really explain the eye witness reports :( BTW There are now websites with conspiracy theories about how MI5 planted the 7/7 bombs in London, 'and the beat goes on'.....

They will probably just run 'find and replace, pigeon for rabbit' on that web page :(

Flash, Always do the personal visit, they can only say no, they can't ignore you. I lost the oppertunity to get onto the most rabbit infested land I know because I phoned and didn't go round in person. Dress smart casual (sounds like a party invite :( ) what I mean is don't bother with a shirt and tie, but definitly don't go cammo'd up.

Have you seen the Defra page regarding rabbit numbers? there some good quotes in there you can use, mainly about 'duty of care' to sorrounding farms etc. I will try and find it again. http://www.defra.gov.uk/wildlife-countrysi...ates/rabbit.htm

Have you tried approaching Golf courses? they are normally only too glad to get rid of wabbits (if they have them of course) This will almost certainly mean lamping as those golfing sorts are out there as soon as it is light, until it gets dark - good luck!
