  1. Hi Steve, really appreciate your help with this. I'll order up a couple of micro SD's asap.
  2. My just out of warranty Foxpro Spitfire's micro SD card has expired so the unit is mute. Does anyone have a cheap solution to this problem - I understand that the card carries the serial No. so a simple copy from another unit may not work... help...please...
  3. If you're going to stick a comb raiser on the SXP I'd recommend testing the POI before & after. My SXP shoots high, the addition of a comb raiser pushed it even higher, to the point of being unacceptable - so the raiser was quickly removed. I'm very pleased with the SXP, it's a great rough field gun; and now that it's got a shiny new 3/8 teague choke, It patterns beautifully (standard chokes weren't too bad).
  4. Think you're right - In the first image of my night time footage you can see the fox jump in the air as the IR light illuminates:
  5. Not tried mine in video mode yet - very impressive.
  6. Animation made from still images - not exactly Spring Watch, but I thought it worth posting...
  7. 2 Jays that have been terrorising the garden's small bird population makes: 1463
  8. Total = 419 Gave the .410 a rest & used my reg'd BSA mashed together air rifle.
  9. Type K ? The 183K is similar to the 183D, but had a "C-Lect-Choke", which allowed the shooter to vary the choke between four settings without changing adaptors (as with the 183D).[1][2][3] Weight 5 1/2 lbs, barrel, 25" with variable C-Lect-Choke. Genuine walnut one piece Monte Carlo stock, later models walnut finish. Made 1953-1956.[1] Nice gun, If I didn't have two .410's already I'd be tempted.
  10. In the range of £150 - £200 - just a guess... Wiki entry: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mossberg_183 A lot description from icollector.com: Mossberg model 183D-A bolt-action single shot shotgun, .410 gauge, 24” barrel, blue finish, wood stock, #NVSN. This gun is in overall good condition showing a brown patina on metal surfaces, good bore, action and markings; wood is overall good with nicks and scratches from carry and storage. Est.: $75-$125.
  11. Thank's probuck; the Bushnell is great value; the image quality is surprisingly good. This image of a roe in the snow was taken at the lower resolution setting:
  12. That's my thinking - get the fox/foxes used to feeding at the same spot. These ladies haven't been tupped, so there's no risk to lambs.
