  1. not close at all i'm afraid to be disallowed when the ball was put down his foot was in the air Just watched the replys again and the tmo got it right. Cuetos left foot hit the touch line before he grounded the ball bet you don't hit a lot of birds with your eyesight. Your dead right Peter But the tv was only 2 ft away from me and I trust the eyes at that range. I saw Cuetos left foot hit the touch line before he grounded the ball and then his foot went into the air as he grounded. In my understanding of the rules once you make contact with the touchline you are in touch so the tmo was right with his call. It was a pity cause if England had taken the lead at that stage i think they would have won

  11. Is it a Dogue de Bordeaux?
  12. Had thought of that LB. Asked an old timer that used ferret there for years and he told me that there has been ginger rabbits there as long as he remembers and that they came about by a cross breeding between a rabbit and a cat he was told years ago:blink: but i have my doubts about that story
  13. Having been posting much the last few months Stuartp but now i have a few pups i think i will be on here more looking for advice on training them
  14. Went checking out some new ferreting ground last night we have got for the coming season and the farmer wanted us to clear some rabbits with the rifle as they are at his garden and shot this ginger coloured rabbit Have caught a few of these colured bunnies while out ferreting but this was the richest coloured one i have ever got. Anyone else have these colured rabbits in there area?
  15. Here is my latest addition to the family Gypsy She is 14 weeks old
  16. Was having the same problem with snares myself Lb and found an orphaned den of fox cubs nearby were the culprits.Farmer has been feeding them since he knocked down the mother and has become fond of them so instead of me going down to take care of them i ended up giving him a few buckets of badly shot bunnies i use for bait to feed the little ******* Are you going to start making your own snares or rabbits by the way??? :yp:
  17. Hi all Just looking for some information on inoculating puppies. When I inoculate my puppies I give them the distemper, parvo etc vaccine with the lepto vaccine and 4 weeks later I give them the lepto vaccine only. I have been told recently that I should also give the distemper, parvo etc vaccine along with the lepto vaccine 4 weeks after the initial vaccination. Can anyone tell me if I am doing the right thing the way I am currently vaccinating my puppies or should I be giving them both sets of vaccines each time like I have been told? Cheers all John
  18. I was just wondering what are the laws regarding buying reloading equipment and primers and powders over in the Uk.Do you need to obtain a permit from the police there to purchase equipment or can anyone who holds a valid licence for a centrefire rifle purchase what they need? Just curious as reloading is meant to be legalised over here in the coming months but there will be a lot of conditions a person will have to satisfy before being granted a licence to reload and to be legally entitled to have in there possession the stuff you need and was just wondering what are the rules/laws you must satisfy before being able to reload in the Uk?
  19. Been using that kind of call for years but i make it with two icepop sticks that are used in kiddies craftmaking and find it damn good only for the fact that it gets water logged with spit after a bit of calling so i always have 3 or 4 in the pocket for a nights shooting
  20. Sorry guys that my question is a bit off the topic of this thread but i was just wondering what are the laws regarding buying reloading equipment and primers and powders over in the uk.Do you need to obtain a permit from the police there to purchase equipment or can anyone who holds a valid licence for a centrefire rifle purchase what they need? Just curious as reloading is meant to be legalised over here in the coming months but there will be a lot of conditions a person will have to satisfy before being granted a licence to reload and to be legally entitled to have in there possession the stuff you need and was just wondering what is the deal in the Uk with it
  21. Thanks for the links and offers Guys.My local gunshop finally got the cci subsonics for me :(
  22. They’re not Polish stuff that cost @ £21 per thousand are they. G.M. They are remington subsonics i use Used cci subsonics years ago that my father brought back from the States when we moved back and had the plastic boxes they came in for years but they eventually got damaged and cant seem to find anyone online that sells plastic ammo boxes for the 22 lr
  23. Any of ye guys know of a site where i can get plastic ammo boxs for 22 lr bullets? Using subsonics in my little gun and they come in a little paper /cardboard box and i am sick of the box falling apart when i am out shooting and being left with a pocket full of bullets
  24. I use a 10s/15 spun nylon for my nets and it holds a single knot well. Have you ever used polyester twine or rayon for netmaking Henry d and if so what do you think of it as a net making material? Just thinking of trying them on a net or two so if any one has used them let me know what you think of them
  25. Cracking post Henry D Would you not use spun nylon for your nets because of the advantage of only having to tie a single knot each time ?
