  1. I had a camera up my dongle 10 days ago to investigate a 'potential something' that a scan showed up - after a practice nurse noticed I'd lost 18kg since my last annual review. Then came a MRI scan that showed a possible something in my bladder. I'm seriously peeved that they elected to investigate with a large rigid cystoscopy "just in case' something needed to be removed instead of a nicer smaller gentle flexible one for a looksee like I had a few years ago. A little thickening of the bladder wall was noticed but nothing needed to be taken away. The large camera size resulted in massive damage just inside my urethra that makes a catheter insertion intense agony - I'm guessing nerve ends got exposed or damaged: the surgeon claims it can't be damaged but he's not the one who screams if anything is introduced there. Since then I've endured intense pain just inside my dongle and I've made it clear if the catheter needs replacing (again) it'll have to be done under sedation, which they say they wont do.The second catheter insertion attempt, in A&E because the first got blocked, would not get past prostate median lobe enlargements protruding into the bladder. I suffered a third one being put in with a wire brace to push past the prostate lobes. I screamed like a girl with that while two assistants restrained my hands to prevent me pushing it away. I cannot go through that again and the urology department don't allow a patient to return if there's any issue after 48 hours have passed. Well I noticed the catheter was blocked again by 50 hours. If I was a good lad I'd have to go to the overworked A&E, bother them again with assessments etc before they send me back to the urology department at the different hospital by ambulance. Well I have some syringes from when I worked with fibreglass resin so I flushed it out myself using a little salt into boiling water that I then let cool down. I've cleared out substantial amounts of blood clots and other debri and its draining ok again. They put me on antibiotics which will hopefully deal with anything in the boiled tap water. Before this episode I was weeing fine with the help of Tamsulosin with no urine retention or pain of any kind. I've looked at several online images of the male urethra path and there is no straight path into the bladder that I can see and can only assume the rigid camera/scope was rammed in and possibly shoved the prostate lobes a bit. I now have to have a procedure that HRH possibly had - lobes removed from my prostate. If they do that through my urethra without general anesthetic I'd rather step in front of a train than take that pain again.
  2. Its chuffin galling when I see politicos refer to EU and France in particular as 'our friends'
  3. Exactly, there won't be as many patriots around given all the immigrants, ladyboys, boyladys, inbetweeners, eco warriors, etc.
  4. Copy/paste: Muslim supporters of polygamy often cite Quran verse 4:3, which instructs men to take as many wives as they can take care of, up to four, and they also point out that the Prophet Muhammad had multiple wives. We pay them very well to outbreed us and to swell their army.
  5. The 70 years old wife's 08 Nissan Note 'Privilege' renewal went from £360 to well over £500 with only 1 yr NCD, 3K miles per annum. They phoned a few days ago to sak why she hadn't renewed. I made a reply to the effect of insurance companies seem to think customers are mugs and that we went Tesco. Confused .com produced a Tesco quote of £328...valid for one day only - we went with that and her Tesco points card brought it down to £280 starting 1st Feb. I'm 72 with 9 years NCD, my 36K miles year 2000 Shogun Pinin (CAT C buy back with front bumper and OSF wing owner replaced), also 3K miles per annum. MORE THAN premium was shocking - only £145.59 !!! Sadly they have ceased taking on motor insurance so there won't be a renewal invite from them - but another company will do so. I'm anticipating having to go compare again Because that premium is so strange I include a photo of the policy schedule.

Yep well done to him - I reckon he looks older that 16 though.
  7. I'm wondering if there's a way to outlaw the RNLI taxis waiting for them halfway to 'rescue' deliberately overloaded dingy's
  8. Well he weren't knockin ya door.
  9. That's already in progress as whites are being bred out. If I get on a bus around here at school times I'm often the only white person on a full bus.
  10. I've been missing out then 'cos I don't get offers like that.
  11. Strewth! I seem to have miss-judged that issue.
  12. I've not measured the miles either way, only looking at the pathway of both doesn't look massively different - but with the suez canal getting ever busier and the current risk in its approach via the Red sea it doesn't seem too big a compromise for a UK deep port destination.
  13. Houthis were warned but gambled 'we'd not risk further mid east action, if we din't back up the warnings they get emboldened. I think the west did Europe's work for them in this matter. Ships coming direct to the UK from the far east aren't going massively further by coming clockwise round around South Africa than partially anticlockwise to get through Gibraltar straights. It's mostly Mediterranean destinations that are badly affected the with those in the east Med faring the worst.
  14. I think they are a very big game changer in my very limited experience.
  15. That's very interesting - I keep a few rods in the bottom of our oven which gets used daily. I'm slightly dyslexic and don't manage to always say what i think I'm saying. I'll try again: when I use a new (pre dried out) rod at low amps it doesn't arc up cleanly and keeps sticking, spoiling the job. I found i had to try in another area first by dragging the rod until it would do what I wanted before returning to the weld area. Every time I changed rods I had the same issue. Using rods I'd cut in half only left me less than half a rod for the job. I eventually stopped cutting the rods and hold a full rod about half way along rather than the electrode holder/torch I'm thinking it might be an idea to increase the hot start percentage feature which is preset at 30%.
  16. And yet it seems .gov are about to commence another contract with Fujitsu.
  17. I've just noticed on the top left in the photo of the welder how really modern it is - seems to be a fully woke one... its all inclusive... Lesbian Gay Bi Trans.
  18. I'm starting to get into this a bit now - this new type of arc welder is far superior to my old transformer type that wouldn't get down to low enough amps to attempt any chassis welding. At this low 30 amps current and using its HOT START feature I found I had to 'warm' the 1.6mm rods off the target area before it would 'soft-arc' where I wanted it if that makes any sense. I welded some 1mm plate over the hole to make it level with an original overlap then welded a slimmer piec to join them up and fill any gaps. This was into the longitudinal box section inside the front wheel arch of a 2001 reg Shogun Pinin project car. I only had a couple of blowthroughs by using a quick touch on and off method to more or less spot weld around the plate. I let the Kurust I liberally applied to dribble through and behind any gaps to dry before applying underseal to seal the job.
  19. Ah... but were you asking for advice and not returning to read any replies?
  20. I have exactly the same issue with W7, I use Chrome browser if that matters.
  21. Wonder if it's been skipped over because Palestinians seem to be allowed to do what they want over here as most orgs are afraid of upsetting them.
  22. If squirrel is going to be a high percentage of your outings - and fox mostly rare I suggest the lower mag will suffice and help spot close up tree use without being too zoomed in. Foxes are so much larger and though they'd be small in the viewer all you need is to know if one is there and wait for it or close the distance, so a fox 'finder' albeit bereft of detail is fine with your budget in my opinion.
  23. Strewth - some very lucky people there - and seemingly some unlucky people in the other aircraft.
