  3. As were told daily by the police and media, cctv cuts crime, best wire up a few nightvision cameras on the area. Obviously you'll need to cover your costs for such an honourable operation, so maybe use webcams
  4. A flock with that attitude would be the stuff of a good horror film
  5. Just found this, not seen it before so thought i'd post, anybody seen this behaviour before? Think i'd have lost it after a short while and served it up http://www.break.com/index/crazy-goose-att...er-and-dog.html Persistant for sure
  6. Welcome aboard, nice gun package I'll have a word with my mate, he's just bought a farm in your area and may be willing etc etc Have fun on the forum
  7. It pains me to say it but i'd go for the 90, though i may vere off and go for the lightweight at the last min Is the lightwieght 24v? Helped rebuild my mates seriesII radio wagon a good few years back and all was well until we started on the electrics, 24v parts were a nightmare to obtain, even the light lenses were different to the std seriesII then again he was being anally retentive about originality... But the electrics were a pain
  8. My Meindl Dovre extremes are excellent, they look almost exactly like mouflons but having had Meindls for years and sold them for quiet a few i know they are all built well from good leather. I've never had a pair let me down and have only seen 3 or 4 pairs going back to meindl with problems, with the amount we sold thats very impressive. Maybe the problem with the la chameau boots is that they don't sell a vast amount and have short production runs, meaning small orders of leather every few months causing more variation between boot's? Just a thought Also there is something to be said for thes age old campanys like scarpa, zamberlain, meindl etc with their years of leatherwork (cobbling?) experience, aswell as the dark art of choosing the right leather for any given job...... By the way i picked up my Dovres for £140 rather than the full £200 or so, can't remember where, you'll have to dig through google
  9. Had one pocket button fall off last weekend in the wash, not a major problem but maybe something to check. The rest are fine though so maybe i caught it on something in the woods? I'm going to try out a few different proofing methods on them as and when they lose the repellency, but no sign yet
  10. Thought i'd post back on here to say how good these trousers are, they performed superbly in Norway, unfortunatly i did not beat the snow, it arrived the day i did , but thanks inpart to these trousers i stayed warm and comfortable for the whole trip. -5 or so during the day dropping down to -15 when the sun went down. Kicking through the foot deep powder snow for days on end chopping wood and a 2day 30 mile hike they dried over night (just damp around the ankles too boot height by the end of the day) and made getting out of my hammock that bit more bearable each morning The high back worked well with my rucsack and stopped any drafts although maybe some sort of soft lining on the waist band may have been nice. Although the pockets were mostly filled to bursting point at most times thay never got in the way. Even at these temps i only ever wore lowe alpine dryflo shorts underneath! For winter in this country i think the'll rock if your not too active but this will depend on the person i suppose? A top piece of kit for sure
  11. They should buzz the opening show anyway, who's going to stop them? Give the crowds something to watch and take their minds oof the normal drivvel that goes with the Olympics. Are we having morris dancers for the main show or is that too british aswell
  12. Well it's just taken me 45mins to find this, but put a smile on my face when i first saw it and still does, wicked tune
  13. Eat most things nowadays, even marzipan(?) on occasion, but still can't stand tuna, had to get my order at the cafe changed to takeaway on friday as someone was eating tuna sald at one of the tables, even had to stand outside in the rain because the smell was churning my gut's
  14. Hey no laughing, i use this code and i'm not deaf B)
