  1. Dottie was crossed with "Teddy" a golden dog from Whaupley lines so keeping the dog very pure. Both Teddies and Dotties heritage have FTCh heritage throughout. Dottie had 5 puppies on the 3rd of June and are now 6 weeks old. They will be ready to leave at the end of July and we have the one girl and one boy left.
Whaupley gundogs are a well bred line of working cockers.

    Kennel Club Names:

Peaceful Patch - Bitch - White body and black ears with black on one side of the face, she has got small dappling on her back so will probably show a mid roan as she grows older? We call her Dottie Junior (DJ).

Sneaky Snoopy - Dog - Strong black and white boy, the biggest dog from the start who will make a very strong and capable dog, very confident. We call him Jersey.

All the puppies are showing their great characters and are walking around, getting used to people. They are now being weaned off her mum.
Legally Docked, wormed, KC registered. Microchip and 1st jabs booked for 8weeks.

All documents will be provided on pickup.

I am happy to send individual pictures and do video calls, I would like these to go to working homes due to the nature of the dog but will also make fantastic pets in the right hands which is important to us.

    £1250 each.

Individual photos updated at 6 weeks.

  2. I have purposely bred my bitch Dottie who is a pure roan black and white whose fathers heritage is "Jay" the blue roan cocker from Whaupley gundogs. The line is of a purpose bred combination of field trial winning spaniels, but also being a great family pet with an "off switch" becoming a great companion.

Dottie had 5 puppies on the 3rd of June and now just over 4 weeks old. They will be ready to leave at the end of July and we have the one girl and two boys left.
Whaupley gundogs are a well bred line of working cockers and Andrew is a judge on the A panel on field trials who has purposely bred this line himself.

Andrews nephew (from Whaupley) has bought one from us, the other black girl.
We are keeping a black girl to. I purposely bred her as I wanted a puppy due to the nature, temperament, drive, agility, nose and most importantly the ears and eyes of the dog.

  3. I am after a rangefinder for a young lad I am teaching. Could you get this to me by Saturday?

I know it sounds cheeky but as it's for a young lad, what's the best price you can do as it will be for the next generation, thank you.

  4. Looking for a working cocker puppy, preferably a bitch to go with my other 3 year old cocker bitch from Whaupley Gundogs.
I am looking to get another biddable, hardworking, nose down and tail up cocker from another breeder/strain.
    KC registered preferable.

    I am based in Suffolk.

  5. Selling my immaculate Pulsar XM30 thermal spotter, used a handful of times in 2 years. Comes in box the with all original papers and accessories.

Very clear image, can ID foxes further than you can shoot them, detect man sized objects at 1300m!

Multiple viewing options, far better than XM30 key. My favourite is black or white hot.

Paid £1530 for this from R Macleod 2 years ago.

Quick sale £850 posted must go this week.

  6. For sale is my Benelli Supernova Camo pump shotgun. I bought this 2 years ago but I just don't use it, I tend to use my Benelli Semi Auto. Would make an excellent wild fowling gun or a really reliable truck/quad/keepers gun.

    12 gauge, 28" barrel.

Comes with all stock shims and factory chokes.

Gun is in excellent condition - £300

  8. Selling my Axion XM30 thermal spotter which is immaculate with all original accessories - padded pouch, lanyard, battery, battery charger/dock and USB charger lead nd of course the spotter itself.
I bought this late August 2019 from RM Macleod for just over £1500 and used a handful of times, hence the sale.

Very clear optics, works faultlessly and capable of spotting quarry further than you can shoot them. Multiple heat modes, my favourite is black or white hot as this is super clear.
£900 posted RMSD - ready to go in the box.

  9. We must all be in this situation at times so reaching out to other members to see what they do.

I have several sealed lead acid batteries which I have bought over the years. I don't do much decoying in the summer (should do really) but I mostly gho decoying on our game shoot when the season is ended, so about now and will be heading out this Saturday and every Saturday for the next 2 months.

Each year I go to charge my 12v batteries and they hold no charge so I just buy another one for £30-40 of A1 decoy or something.

There must be a way of either preventing them for dying by being sat in the shed, or reviving them?

    Any tips please?

    Jay.

  10. Thanks Ken, good idea to have other fields in the mix, hopefully a fe wof the other lads are going out after pigeons so we can keep everything on the move. Going to use a magnet and see how it works and also bought a primos power crow call.

  11. Been a while since I posted on here!

So the maize is being chopped as we speak, done a little reccy and as always there are hundreds of crows about.

I want to go after them this weekend, anyone got tips for me to draw them in or keep them off other fields?

They are used to seeing such large flocks that it may prove tricky, so need to make it irresitable.

Counted about 300 on one field (right in the middle of the estate and half a mile away another 200+ on sugar beet tops just lifted.

Tag Heuer Aquaracer, lots of cred, brilliant timekeeper, no stupid service prices and a lot cheaper than a Rolex or Omega.
I had a Rolex GMT Master years ago and wasn't impressed with the timekeeping.

I have this exact watch with a pearl face, gold centre bracelet with silver/stainless on the outside and it looks very expensive, had it for 8 years, worn every day and still looks fantastic.
