That's some very kind offers there. Now I need to decide which one to go with! I think it may well be Pembrokeshire - not too far to drive from here and I can work my way up the country each year. I'll get myself on google later with the other half and she can choose.
Pole Star - I'm sure you can't be that bad fella? Anyway, you haven't met me yet!

As i am from Pembrokeshire i will recommend you come down to this glorious part of the world.
the only coast national park, with a 120 mile coast walk from easy ramble to all out hard core hike.
More beaches than you can shake a stick out, from rocky beaches with lots of pools for the kids, to glorious sandy beaches.I personally recommend Barafundal beach, a small walk across the cliff top giving stunning views and then to the horse shoe beach voted the most idyllic place to have a picnic.
You want castles,we can't give em away, everyone seems to have them,as you go around the county be careful you will bump into one of them.
Harbour towns,Tenby picturesque,Solva secluded and lovely,Saundersfoot nice harbour and walk to next bay through an old railway tunnel, great for kids and adults.
Rolling fields and stunning countryside.
Lots of fishing anywhere you want, Tenby run trips for mackerel right through to deep sea fishing.
All in all a stunningly beautiful and fantastic place to chill and relax.Or go wild and enjoy all the outdoor sports and activities.
Lastly,if i am about (which i am most weekends) give me a call sure i could arrange a meander with the rifle or shotgun.
second that,we are going again to Newgale next month...welsh are you still going away week beginning the 10th august...

sacked barclays....a woman with the same initials and surname as me had an account....somehow they mixed up the accounts...everytime i paid in..it went into her account and everytime she made a withdrawal, she took it out of my account, got a snotty letter saying i was 1500 quid overdrawn and i was going to incur charges...i pointed out that was impossible and the error must be at their end....they didnt want to know and was threatened with solicitors and extra costs......went in,made a fuss in front of a load of customers, made welcome in the managers office and we eventually sorted it out,no apologies,so moved to another bank but left a quid in so they have to do all the paperwork and send me statement every month
