Hi I am just about to sell my very low mileage Jimny. bit of a wobble on the steering at 50 . I am up in Rutland have only used it to go about 6 miles shooting no tow bar. Maybe too far away Richard

Hi Duckman. You may be better off with a .17 Rem. more so if your ground is stony. Also one can reload the Rem. I have a good friend who I trust who loads mine. I have a .17 HMR but the Rem. is what I prefer. Price of hand loads about the same price. and can vary the velocity using his chrono set up. I use a Tika 595 great rifle

It,s not my spirits plenty in the bottles!!!!!!!? I still use the .17 rem that I use the most shan't part with that, as it is earmarked as a gift to a very good friend I am also selling my CZ,17 hmr and my beautiful .243 BSA Stutzen

Hi to all you youngsters out there, --Went roost shooting last night (Saturday ) ,edge of wood , missed a lot more than I hit, I think it's time I packed it in, 80 years old next year. Regards Richard

Posted 18 June 2009 - 10:13 AM I wanted mine cut to 16" I did lot of searching about, eventually I spoke to a very well respected riflesmith. He advised me to go for 14" which is what he did for me, and all though I never chrono'd it before or after there has been zero loss of accuracy and the rifle is far more car friendly as a result Hi I did a search on the web and this is what I found so job sorted. Hi I have a .22 lr Brno Model 1 that I want to use in my truck, need to shorten the barrel has anyone done this and how short can I go?. Don't want to mess up a very accurate rifle though.
