Was thinking of something different this year like having a goose instead of turkey,can anyone whos actully had a goose christmas dinner comment on how it is,ive heard you dont get as much meat overall as you do with a turkey,i wonder if i should get a small goose to go alingside the turkey.......any thoughts???

The .454 casul is a beast for sure!! Just a longer .45 colt round really.....44 is still very popular on the gallery rifle circut, 4.6 of titegroup seems a popular load,u dont need full magnum loads for much accept wild aninals and long range target......the 50 ae was and is an excellent round... My fave will always be the .45 acp...1911 gold cup or variant of....

The book whilst the author does over anylise some points,does dig up some disturbing and vile facts about the massacre of innocent kids and their teacher. the guy was a known peodofile,and had friends in high places that visited his "boys camps".....also lots and lots of inconsistencies in all the details involveing the shootings themselves,how many guns did he have,why did his belly bullet wound go unreported,why did he lie on the floor flat head on ground on his back hold the gun at an angle and shhot himself through the head ??with 2 bullet holes under his skull when they quickly removed the body and burned it sharpish.... Now just becase its a book dont make everything in it true, but if u do read it you will become a little suspicious of the so called cover up and the wall that all goverment depts put up to stip her book ensued.....my self im still open minded,things iveheard and seen over the years nothing would suprise me......

Youve got it,pistol ownership was banned to prevent another dunblane, now we had a cumbria?? And the pistol ban did not stop that. Firearms are still in private citizen ownership,we are still trusted with what we have,and what we have could be butcherd up to become handheld at any moment, so why not reverse the pistol ban?? Perfectly simple. Unless u advocate more and more restrictions??

Ive said this before and most on here were too ignorant to see it, that anyone can take a hacksaw to a 10/22 or any firearm,to make it hand held,admitidly not quite a real pistol but hand held and easily concealeable...to this end the dunblane ban of pistols to prevent another dunblane has failed.........so lets at least see .22 pistols back....... The earlier post of a 92f lbp would not be legal,as its a semi auto and only .22 semi auto us allowed. the lbp are basiclly a rifle, not in the spirit of the law, but legal none the less.... And as for whoever said they are toys,i invite u to the next bisley graw event,lets see how you fair there, perhaps people reflectively veiw a shot gun as a toy??? Hardly a precision instrument??? Severnside is pretty open mate and will cost you a fourtune in fuel and tolls........bdrpc u dont have to do 3 visits a month,they will let u stretch out your probationary period out to a length of time that suits you.....there are range rules and conditions for a reason,most who come into a club/range enviroment from a hunting background are not used to having so many people shooting at once and have trouble adjusting to range discipline...this is not to say the individual is any more risk than a fresh new shooter,and the club does not know you so require conditions on youre probation so they can get to know you,and eventully sign youre cert. At bdrpc we have a bad element of people who shoot only,they dont help out they dont tidy up they dont contribute anything but scorn and complaint,this element is slowly going elswhere and we dont want them back or people like them.its a good club for its members with the best range in the south west.. We get through a lot of potential members to arrive at the quality of people we have today. If you feel you dont want or cant be bothered with the chance we provide for membership then im sure youll be happy with the extensive luxurious facilities that other ranges provide.....

A risk assessment done 'creatively' will be a massive tool in you're anti combat arsenal!!! I would avoid talking to the chap unless he responds to an invite by the police to talk with you,with the officer present,but the police probably won't do that. As in so many things in life confrontation between to partuies can take many forms,so you must arm ureself accordingly,a risk assessment is good,a past with the police is bad for him! And having the cops onside is good for you......just keep doing what you are doing,he will get sick as before,and start on to the council about the state of the hedges or parking or whatever those sad little people do once their wife has left them for a bloke half his age!!!!
