me and a team do a small bore day every year at the start of the season all partridge its great fun .410 or 28 bore it normally a 100 bird day .proper good fun day and a great way to start the season .we pay £400 which includes the keepers tip

15/16 oz of 6 or 7 shot in my 16 bore has done me fine for 30 years for game and pigeon .I think 32 gms of 6 shot is a bit heavy for me to use all day over decoys

no I don't think so .its just something I would never do I have shot on this land for 30 years and took loads of people out as far as I know nobody has then gone to the farmer and asked if they could shoot the geese or pigeons behind my back after an invite .I just think in under hand .and something I would never do .this is not just a mate has been to Scotland on trips with our sons shooting .this is somebody I trusted .

I took a mate (so called ) on one of my perms goose shooting and pigeon shooting loads of times over the last ten years ,I just rang him for a chat and he informs me he knocked on the farmers door this week and he now shoots there , .funny he now has the hump because I told him to **** off and what a **** thing to do .he sent me a txt saying sorry and how he has lost his job and now has to much time on his hands .

I have been asked by a dairy farmer to shoot the foxes as they keep ****ting in his barns and milking sheds I shot 3 in one night with a shotgun just by sitting inside the barns last winter .

126 crows on chicken waste when they let the farmers plough it in (banned now) 101 on pigeons with loads of 70 plus .but i had 15 on a flight line yesterday flying high over a spinney into some drilling in 2 hours and enjoyed that just as much every shot was a good one loved it .

i have shot a English 16 bore for 30 years there are a few good 1 oz loads game bore have a good one that i have been using for the last 3 seasons very nice and smooth good killing power on driven game and pigeons .but had a play with some hull 24 gram high pheasant and they were nice to shoot as well . but my local shop sells game bore .but when i go anywhere with the wife on day trips i check if there is a gun shop local pay a visit and buy all the 16 bore i can if there different ,i got some very nice French cartridges last year .

lots of geese about mepel way only a few duck but still worth a trip i think ,i went last week for the first time this season had a nice morning out with a mate shot 3 geese

i was on a driven day last Saturday gusts of 40 mph i shot one pigeon on every drive some were better than the pheasant ,its not the done thing on our shot to shoot pigeons the keeper hates it ,that's why i kept it to one per drive ..

i ring if i am lamping at night but never day time .i rang the other night they were fine gave me a number and asked me to ring when i had finished so they can cancel the job number .its got to be better then the police cocking up your night out with the rifle .
