Objectively speaking, Fury won the first fight by a decent margin.
Yep have to agree, I think he was robbed, he done well to get up & carry on.
The recent program on him has made me change my stance, he seems to have changed his life round, & openly admit his faults, which I admire him for.
One thing is for sure, Wilder will be boxing a different fight on the night.
Fury, going by his last fight was to light, lost to much weight training, so IMO will have to gain some to be on par with Wilder.

Read today about some idiotic stupid QC ...yes a QC, putting, actually bragging on the web that he had bludgeoned a fox to death with a baseball bat. Great help that.
Twitter lit up with this yesterday, he was even replying to the posts as the day went on.
Now the RSPCA is involved, he deserves everything he gets IMO.
Regardless whether it goes hand in hand with the hunt supporter or not, the common denominator is "Fox" and that's all that Joe Public will see.

I hope Scotland doesn't vote for UK independence but I'd prefer them to just be given the choice sooner rather than later and allow us all to get on with the things that should really matter to us.
They've had there choice, Gove on Sophie Ridge this morning was asked if Scotland would get another vote, a straight NO was the answer.
The Scottish people are not stupid, I doubt they would vote to leave.

Scotland did vote remain not leave,
Quote3) Scotland was taken out of the EU against it's will? The question was never about Scotland, it was the UK!
You hear this from wee Crankie all the time.
Scotland voted as part of the UNION, period, not as a nation.
Second quote above highlights it.

Agree with Scully, received this the other day in an email.
The Arctic Ocean is warming up, icebergs are growing scarcer and in some places the seals are finding the water too hot according to a report to the Commerce Department yesterday from the Consulate at Bergen, Norway.
Reports from fishermen, seal hunters and explorers all point to a radical change in climate conditions and hitherto unheard of temperatures in the Arctic zone.
Exploration expeditions report that scarcely any ice has been met as far north as 81 degrees 29 minutes.
Soundings to a depth of 3,100 meters showed the gulf stream still very warm.
Great masses of ice have been replaced by moraines of earth and stones, the report continued, while at many points well known glaciers have entirely disappeared.
Very few seals and no white fish are found in the eastern Arctic, while vast shoals of herring and smelts which have never before ventured so far north, are being encountered in the old seal fishing grounds.
Within a few years it is predicted that due to the ice melt the sea will rise and make most coast cities uninhabitable.
I must apologize. I neglected to mention that this report was from November 2 , 1922, as reported by the AP and published in The Washington Post 96 years ago. This must have been caused by the Model T Ford's emissions or possibly from horse and cattle farts.Snopes, verified the article did in fact appear in 1922!

it’s the videos posted showing 80 + birds with no mention of cartridge load or chokes that some seem to beraave him for
Earlier in the thread;
QuoteThey are Hull High Pheasant Extreme 34/4 fibre, going through Miroku 32" 18.4 bore barrels
QuoteWe have tried 40/4s, 36/4s, 34/4 HPE Fibre this year and during extensive testing with Hull on pattern plates at 70yd and out in the field the 34/4 have performed the best with 5/8th choke in 18/4 barrels.

I don't shoot bits of paper, got far better things to do with my time.
You don't have to.....get Hull to take a photo at 80yds, Watsapp it to you then bang it up on PW.
That way you wont have to lower yourself to shooting bits of paper...
With all the info/bumf you've posted on this thread I'd thought you'd be falling over yourself to prove the ney sayers wrong...

Numerous requests for pictures of pattern plate results, but up till now nothing..?
Is there a reason, or have you not got round to it yet.?

But it's not ethical and is detrimental to the sport.
1 video of wounded "extreme" birds from packham and you can bet your shoot breakfast that it will go viral and there will be calls and petitions to ban it. Probably within hours.
This is election time in an anti field sports country. What do you think will happen? Boris won't bat an eyelid to win another 500000 votes at the drop of a hat and neither will any of the rest.
And there you have it,
The recent **** storm that Packham kick off not so long ago (GL), couple that with the dumping of birds, then add this to it & he's on another ego trip.
You would think these cartridge manufactures would be tripping over themselves to get these super duper cartridges out to shooters.
I'm also intrigued to see them patterned at 80yds.

Breaking a brittle clay and killing a bird are 2 very different things, for a start the clay won't carry on and die in pain from being pricked due to a careless shot at a silly range.
It's clear from this thread that there are a few that simple don't care about what's sporting or humane and just want bragging rights.
Not my cup of tea.
Have to agree with you, definitely not for me.
80yd shot is on a wing & a prayer.
This copy'paste sums it up nicely from the link posted, the ratio at the end is on about par with what's been said above.
QuoteA full choked gun would create a shot column approximately 20ft long at 80 yards distance. The last pellets in the column would only reach the target approximately four hundreds of one second after the first pellets. In four hundredths of one second, a bird flying at 40mph or 700 inches per second would have travelled approximately 28 inches and it would have almost cleared the 30” circle, making any strike unlikely. Neither the bird nor the pellets can be in two places at the same time. The last pellets in the column would only arrive after the bird has passed. Possibly this is why some of these extreme bird shoots only average a shot to kill ratio of 10:1 or worse.
