  1. Hugh, I must thank you for wasting my time & my Bailiffs time - he waited for you for 25 mins on Sunday! It wouldn't have hurt to answer your phone. P.M. me if you are interested, yes I have places left.
  2. Cheers Paul,.... Apologies for not getting back to the others interested in the Wickford shoot, I am so busy I haven't got time to pass wind....lol I will contact you I promise... any lost days will be deducted from the shoot rental as I am a disorganised busy plonker...
  3. Only one shoot left. (Wickford) A few spaces available, PM with full name, email adds and tel number & I will get back to you.
  4. Hugh, I have passed info to my Bailiff who will arrange to show you round. P.M. me to get my details. All places nearly gone already.
  5. I have several spaces remaining on some of my shoots - available immediately. Runs from 1st April to 31 March each year. You are supplied with personal & vehicle passes and can attend at almost any time without making bookings, shoot when you like. Good varied quarry. Please p.m me with your full name, email address and contact phone number. I will mail you back a set of rules for information & arrange to have you shown round ASAP. My bailiff will be showing perspective members round this Friday during the day & will call you for a chat. Now the light evenings are here, evening viewings will be available as well. I have four places available at a Rawreth/WIckford shoot priced at £400 pgpa. I have one place available at a Billericay shoot priced at £420 pgpa Just One gun available at a lovely Rennendon/Runwell shoot at £550 pgpa. Just One gun available at a nice starter shoot at Runwell for just £175 pgpa. If you are the sort of person that shoots anything that moves without caring what it is - this is not the syndicate for you. I expect members to be respectful, considerate & safe. I only supply the appropriate number of guns depending of the size/type of shoot, nothing is overshot. I have 27 years experience in this area & am proud of my reputation. I can provide all details via email or telephone. Look forward to hearing from you. Regards Gordon
  6. Only Wickford Rawreth Shoot still available, others now full. Thanks guys.
  7. Apologies, I thought I had replied to all pm's. I am looking for fairly local guns who will renew each year. In my experience if you have to travel more than 10 miles or so you will not shoot often enough and will not renew. It is also not ideal for those that can only get down at the weekends. I would think you are probably at least 40 miles away. Regards
  8. FAC as well, .22 & .17HMR Have posted in the paid section. Once I work out how to delete this post I will delete it.....

  10. Doh.... I don't post much as you can see.. I will move it to the other section. Thanks old chap.
  11. Glad its not only me that feels a little guilty after hammering a fox. They are a lovely creature when you get a healthy one, but also a pain in the *** due to their current numbers, I shoot them on sight as they feed on the same things I want to eat. When ever I feel guilty though I just think of what they do to a covey of partridge or duck chicks etc, they do not just take what they need to survive so the guilt feeling does not last very long... Cant wait to get a few with my new (to me) 8x56 S&B on the .243 & .308 (might be fun on a fox) or my spanking new 4-12x50 S&B on the .22-250 - have to get the scopes mounted first though.... BTW, Thinking of getting a 50mw laser designator instead of using a standard lamp, this will be for foxes here and abroad for wild boar with the .308 - anybody use a laser designator for this?
  12. Thanks Rushjob, I did see this one but I thought it was expensive for a 40 year old vice, it also looks as knackered as me on the flat jaws, by the time I put new jaws on and pay the hefty postage, I could probably nigh on get a new one from Germany which are higher quality. Thanks though. Cheers
  13. LOOKING FOR A "BISLEY" GUNSMITHS VICE OR SIMILAR. A MULTI-PURPOSE VICE WITH TWO SETS OF JAWS AND A ROTATING JAW HEAD WOULD BE FINE.
  14. Anyone have a "Tipton Best Gun Vice" for sale?
  15. Cheers Pete, Bookmarked already, he has an ebay shop as well, a massive selection of mounts - he could be my supplier for all the different models I need! Thanks again old chap. Gordon
  16. Many thanks old boy, I will give them a go. I actually have several problems - I have a set of (medium/high?) 30mm ones which will be ok on my M77 Mk2 .22-250 with my new 30mm S&B 3-12x50 (I hope). I have a spare set of 1" for my M77 Mk1 .308 but are too low for a 8x56. Trouble is I have two S&B 8x56, one a hungarian with a 1" tube and an older German one with a 26mm tube. There is almost no way to get the 26mm on a Ruger without using 30mm rings and spacers (dont like the idea). I also need rings to suit a Husqvarna with 21mm rails (rear offset to make it more complicated) and some for a CZ with 11mm which at least will be easy. Too many rifles, too many scopes, no idea and no money left....... Cheers...
  17. Hi peeps, Just bought a lovely S&B 3-12x50 for my M77 Mk2 varminter in .22-250 Now skint but happy Trouble is, I only have 1" Ruger Mounts and now need 30mm kiddies... anybody?
  18. I think this is the definitive answer - shoot enough magpies, crows, jackdaws and other nasty corvids to allow the Jay's to breed. We have quite a few on one of my farms and they will be shot there, not so many on some of the others, so they will be left alone. I want the grey partridge to breed without attack from corvids. Don't act like some nationalities I could mention and shoot anything that moves... that's just not British
