  1. As per title, I have a copy of Fifa 15 for sale. It is brand new, still in the shrink wrap and for the PS4. http://www.game.co.uk/en/m/fifa-15-301019?pageSize=20&errorViewName=mProductDisplayErrorView&categoryIdentifier=737261&top_category= Currently around £50 in most of the stores. I'm asking £35 delivered to your door first class recorded. Payment by either bank transfer (preffered) or PayPal. First to confirm via PM gets it. Thanks.
  2. I was out there on business late last year. Stayed in Colombo at the cinnamon grand. A very nice place that I would definitely recommend. Its right in the centre and very close to the beach. Plenty of good nightlife in the area too. While you do get the usual approaches when your out and about, i never felt unsettled. Unfortunately, due to time restrictions, I did not have the chance to head out of the city, but everyone I spoke to highly reccomended a visit to the elephant sanctuary. As for getting around, I got a car from the airport. Absolutely take the highway from the airport if heading to columbo. It will save you a good 30/40 minutes for the relatively small toll. The currency is a closed one so you have to get it when you arrive. When you get to the arrivals hall you will see the 5-6 exchange counters. There is nothing between them in terms of rates and they will take cash in any currency. You can use a card there too but I did not personally. The hotel also exchanged at the same rate too and using credit cards in the hotel is safe too. Although limited, hope this helps. Hope you enjoy the trip - its somewhere I definitely plan to visit again on my own time.
  3. Not as good a bag as last time PB. But a day outdoors with the chance of a shot is much better than a day on my office. :-( Better luck next time ey?
  4. Sorry to hear of your loss.
  5. Lee, if this falls through drop me a pm. I'd like to try it on as I'm a 42/chest and don't want it to be too roomy, but as your only up the road from me hopefully this is not too big a deal.
  6. Guess that explains why the websites look the same and ecp are so keen to price match. Guess my info must have been from when the same guy did run them both. However, as I described works well for me. I have done click and collect with ecp but still find calling the local branch armed with a price from elsewhere I can get a better price than advertised on the web - including when they have n% off offers. Seems talking to guys at store, as you also say, gets the job done
  7. Another trick I've learnt with euro car parts is to look on carparts4less.co.UK for a price then call euro car parts and ask them to price match. Carparts4less is the same company but web orders only, so the prices tend to be much cheaper - close to the trade discounts mentioned above. Guess not having the overhead of a shop like the euro arm has let's them price differently. But with the price match you get the discount and its easier to take stuff back if you get the wrong bit. No faffing with postage.
  8. Had two sorted (bupa). Two weeks off work to recover, could not do a great deal for the first few days either as stomach muscles were pretty sore. Six to eight weeks before lifting anything of any weight - like a case of beer - and twelve weeks before I could go back training. Mind you, I did have some 'conversation starter' scars that I was always happy to show the ladies.
  9. Wow, that's a nice haul there PB. A very worthwhile night out.
  10. I had mine lowered about a year ago - three normal and two sloped, all lowered to road level. Local authority did it in a day and it cost me just over 800 quid if I recall correctly.
  11. I did not think the 1.8 was four wheel drive. My 2.0 vvti (petrol) Mk2, which is four wheel drive, is regularly doing 25mpg, but this drops to 20ish if just doing short journeys around town.
  12. I've a mk2 and my dad a mk1. Both are 2l petrol and all wheel drive. In three years the mk1 has required nothing more than regular service parts - exhaust, cam belt and water pump, and some flexi brake hoses. All apart from the exhaust were the originals lasting 110k miles. The mk2 has done similar miles and has needed a gear linkage cable over and above the regular service stuff. They are a doddle to work on when needed and the parts are relatively cheap. The only down sides to them are their thirst- 25mpg - and the wheels seem to be made of kit kat wrappers. On both the paint it peeling from the wheels, but we use them as tools so it's not an issue. If you get the petrol one you have to go 2l for the all wheel drive. The mk2 is also a chain driven cam should that make any difference to you. I would reccomend one but you have to put up with a few 'hairdresser' comments.
  13. Same here. First year is fee free but with all the benefits (and points) it pays for itself over and over.
  14. I'm sure the insurance coverage your after is included with the amex card I mentioned: http://www.americanexpress.com/us/content/card-benefits/car-rental-insurance/faq.html
  15. I know not as many places take amex as they do visa or MasterCard, but I'm using an amex gold reward at the minute. It has a £125 per year fee (first is free so you could just use it for 11 months and cancel it) but getting a minimum of 1%, and in some cases 3% cash back. There is also bonus points if you spend over cetain amounts. No charges for using overseas, even if withdrawing cash, travel insurance as well as two free airport lounge passes a year (£15 each pass there after). If you do a bit of travelling I would reccomend.

    Chromecast

I had the same question about NAS. But after some reading its seems its not the fully integrated solution I wanted. Basically, so long as your tablet or phone will open the file, you can push it to the TV using Chromecast. Without a tabket\phone\pc it can't access your NAS and play files - unless your also using Plex as the media server (and therefore the decoder). The raspberry pi running XBMC can and do all I want, including air play, so think I'm gonna buy another for the TV in the living room. It even plays MKV...
  17. Try looking up Quarry Motors in Sheffield. They are a BMW breaker and might just be able to source what your after. Had a few bits from them for my previous e46 and they were reasonably priced. They also deliver to anywhere in the country
  18. The law of sod. Still not a bad tally for a few hours though PB.
  19. I have a pair if the neoprene lined ones too and would not hesitate to recommend them. Wearing really well used daily dog walking as well as for days shooting. Edit:typo
  20. Have you tried the Acme silent whistle? That unscrews for tone and cleaning but has a small screw in the body that you can use to lock the bottom part. http://www.acmewhistles.co.uk/xcart/product.php?productid=105
  21. Hi all, I have bought two guns on a great shoot for the 30th November, with the intention of me and Dad having a bit of day out. However, due to a work commitment I am no longer able to take my gun and am therefore offering it to back to the PW masses. The shoot is in the Driffield area and is being run by fellow PW member YDS. The link to the original advertisement is below: http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/topic/254226-100-120-birds-days-yorkshire/?do=findComment&comment=2225532 In brief the day is a fully driven 100-120 bird day - mainly pheasant and partridge (with some cracking partridge drive too) - with a total of 9 guns. Having shot this land last year, to say I'm gutted to miss it this year is an epic understatement. However, work has to come first this time. I'm looking to recover my £310 for the day, which is superb value for a day like this. Please PM me if you are interested and we can discuss. I would be willing to sell the two guns (£310 each) if you and a friend wanted to join forces, if it helped secure the sale. Thanks 4eyes
