  1. My dads had one for a few years and all he has done it put fuel in it. The 2L ones are AWD and on the Mk1 (at least) there is a button in the dash to lock the centre diff. I also have a MK2 as my shoot/dog/ general smashing about car. It's also a 2L, is AWD but has an auto box. No button to lock the diff but apparently the box works out if it needs to and does it automatically. Both are petrol and return around 25mpg real world
  2. If its an open invite, subject to the date, I'd love to come along and show you how to miss
  3. A few of my favorites: Marstons double drop Black sheep - the one with the brown label. It's a lovely dark beer but has a bit of fizz. Awesome super chilled. But my favourite has to be Jennings Cocker hoop. It's a great refreshing drink and won the bronze CAMRA award a few years ago i belive. To top it off I found that the local Aldi sell it at £1.20. Happy fays
  4. I'm on the phone so can't copy the link but search "5th gear fuel test" on YouTube. A short while back they did a test comparing supermarket chepo stuff, standard and so called super fuels such a optimax etc. I think the results were only marginal. In my experience Shell regular diesel seems to work the best in my 320d. Supermarket diesel tends to have a really high bio disel content and this has less lubricating properties that could contribute to premature wear. If I recall rightly , morrisons being the highest at around 7%. Also made my car smoke like an old train!
  5. I was there just two weeks ago too. Stayed in one of the pods. Normally camp but for ease decided we would have one of the pods and they are top. I too can reccomed Kevin's site.
  6. Two dogs alco lemonade is my contribution. Was about before hooch and in regular size soft drink cans. +1 on the Carling Premier. You can still get it but I'm sure it's changed. Just one or two gives me a stinking headache now where as a 'youf I could mange a few without feeling **** for a day.
  7. There have been worse days PB. At least you managed to stay dry this time though.
  8. Oooh, yes please. Can I get a gamebore pair when you can please. Pm your payment details.
  9. Yes, had the same last week. Figure they are having some kind of audit/checking up we are all sending in the transfer papers when flogging guns on
  10. Not a bad bag PB Not quite as many as you were hoping after the reports yesterday, but worse ways to spend a Thursday for sure. Hope you have better luck Saturday
  11. I got the same when on 3G. Now I'm home on wifi no issues. Hopefully just a temporary network glitch.
  12. I used Carpet tiles in mine too. Little faffing and does the job for a few quid.
  13. The apartments the bulldog do are pretty good. Stayed in one in March for the mrs' 30. They are right above the middle bulldog (three on one canal) and your right in the middle of " the district". So perfect for a lads weekend. Deffo reccomend for the money versus staying in a hostel. The bigger bulldog down the road is a good laugh later on at night. Always full of drunk American women... Pm me if you want any more details of where to go

    Las Vegas

Planet Hollywood has some cheaper game tables. Had a few $2 blackjack tables As well as wheel of fortune. Bills has similar too but the totty dealers arnt as much to look at. There is also a good sorts bar in planet Hollywood where a group of lads would fit right in and it's not a fortune. Can't remember the exact name of the bar but it's something cowboy or bull related. As for shooting I went to Machine Guns Las Vegas rather than the gun store. Was a bit cheaper and and they had what I wanted to shoot. Ended up spending about $400 in the end though as its very easy to get carried away. Belt fed 1919 is a must!
  15. Not a bad way to spend a evening. Nice shooting!
  16. Ow. Nice to know. We usually camp just up the road at Hollywell bay but always good to meet fellow PW'er. Can you PM the website too please as sure we will be down this summer
  17. 3 bed house, two of us plus dog and no skimping, on a meter is 280 a year. Meter was fitted when it was built but by what is said above I'm glad I'm not paying rates
  18. Or pressing ctrl, as suggested above, and scrolling on your mouse if it has the scroll wheel between the two buttons. One direction zooms in, the other out.
  19. Yeah. Had a bottle or two given for Xmas. Very sweet, but also very nice with nothing more than a piece of ice. Far better than the southern comfort version I would add too.
  20. Use the 'print screen' button, or 'prt scrn' as its proberbly labeled on the keyboard. It should be near Num lock. When what you want is on screen press that button then go in to another application that's capable of handling pictures and press paste. That should do it. Then crop off what you dont want
  21. Would be up for a round of clays sometime soon. There was supposed to be a regular meet at Park Lodge a while back but think its fizzled out due to folks dropping out
  22. Would be worth dropping the trigger group out and checking it's not all gunked up. If not atleast you can closely inspect the parts to see if anything is obviously bent (creases or broken paint)
