Shot plenty at that range and beyond. Same rules as any type of shot get the core pattern up front they will be killed instantly. I could post a picture of a Greylag shot with 8.5's but can't be doing with the na sayers eg how do we know that's 45+ yards or with that bore of gun etc.

Shooting Geese under moon light all good. My honest opinion provided you don't use Thermal or Night Vision then again all good. To be 100% right/sure give Natural England a quick call 👍
