That’s great to hear, glad you like it. To be honest it’s the second DT11 I’ve had…..the first, a standard adjustable, I bought new and couldn’t get on with it…felt heavy, and lumpy. I chopped it for a K80 SS, as that ha# always been my dream gun, but the reality of ownership and using it was very disappointing. I spotted a mint used DT11 Gold (non adjustable) Sporter, picked it up and it felt completely different to both previous guns. It just fits and moves with me….it’s lovely. I assume it’s no different to standard DT11 apart from the gold inlay but it seems to be livelier somehow….but still heavy at 8lb 9oz.

I’ve recently bought a used DT11 Gold Sporter and it’s awesome. The black versions were also known to be bit lighter in the barrels and whippy, not to mention reported issues with the carbon fibre ribs falling off etc..

I’ve got 2 x Blaser Teague extended and 1 x Blaser flush fit - all 1/4 if that’s any good to anyone? The 2 x Teague are unused and only a few weeks old and the flush has been used twice. No longer have the gun Let me know if of any use. Ian

And to think I thought travelling circuses only happened in my neck of the woods! At the end of the day isn’t this sorry saga, if true, nothing more than simple greed, or ego perhaps, or both? Maybe I’m old fashioned but why does there have to be a cash prize anyway....it feels like the dark ages to me and for anyone even slightly motivated by money it’s bound to happen. I’ve never shot comp in my life, no issue with folks who want to, but I don’t do it to gamble....I do it to shoot. I don’t know the people involved in this so I can’t comment, but surely taking away the prizes can only help take away the temptation. We all want to win and like the felling when we do, but surely this can’t be at any cost?

Yes Oakedge is due to start registered shots again in January with Steve Lovatt setting the targets so it should be good. You also have Garlands near Telford and Kegworth off Junc 24of the M1. Also Yeavely is worth a visit but only 50 bird and fibres only. I’m along the road in Stoke and these are all within 45 minutes or so.

Brand new gun, 4 weeks old.....back to the dealer if it was me. Im sure they will sort it for you, but do that before you shell out any more cash on things like re-blueing, which may invalidate your warranty?

I also thought the first Vulcan was a decent bit of kit...perhaps not by today’s standards, but the one my mate had in .22 certainly didn’t seem short on power. The other catalogue classic I remember was the ASI Sniper or for an extra 15p a week the ASI Statical

My first air rifle.....also a Relum Tornado came from my mans catalogue.....14th birthday back in 1980. Came with some pellets, darts and targets.

Few guys over on the Airgun Forum who could sort it out for you if you dont want to tackle it yourself....Blackmax is a good place to start.

Am tempted but fear I might make a dogs dinner of it....
