  1. Sorry mate, just had a look ( should of done that first really ) they havn't got it listed but may still be worth a phonecall. Always really helpful. Jim.
  2. I got a Laksen in realtree from here was £180 reduced to £70. Think the £180 may of been slightly inflated but couldn't find for less that £130 when i done an internet search. Not sure if they are still on offer but worth a try or a phonecall maybe. Jim.
  3. Hi, I have a Baikal .410 in as new condition bought from new last May for my Son. Have used it 3 - 4 times at most and has been thoroughly cleaned after each use. Will take 3inch magnum carts. I still have the original sales receipt. Am looking for £90 ovno. Would prefer f2f but if not too much hassel would consider RFD exchange. Thanks a lot, Jim. Not to great at posting pics but is the same as others on here have sold. I can email pics if anyone wants to see it.
  4. cheers for idea sam. few other options now but will give it a go if i have no luck elsewhere.
  5. cheers for this guys. I phoned my local gunshop today ( diff one from where i got the stupid original price for supply and fit ) and he won't even touch it, says that as it's a gamo and he doesn't stock the parts he wouldn't risk breaking it and not have the spares to fix it or have to pay loads of cash to get them. As for whether its a cadet or a delta it actually has.. wait for it.. Gamo Cadet Delta on the stock ! I've looked on the plans of both that sam sent me the links for and it looks more delta than cadet so that's what i've gone for. I suppose when the old spring comes out if it's a completely different size i'll have to send the one i got back and ask if they can swop it but hopefully it won't come to that. I'm really grateful for all this help.. i've even had people offer to do it for me for free if i send it to them. I'll see how i get on with the step by step advice and hopefully get it sorted but if not nd the offers still stand that would be very much appreciated. Jim. Sam, can't tell if attached or not and there is something showing at the back which i take it must be the back of SG007 or N005. Hyflier, have sent you a PM.
  6. oops. yep, action is out of the stock.
  7. been down the gunsmith route which is why i was hoping to do it myself just can't justify or afford to spend so much on it. thanks for replying though Sam

  9. please anyone.. there must be someone out there with more technical knowlwdge than me
  10. hi all, just after some advice again on this air rifle. I ordered the spring which came today as well as a breach seal. I done the seal but am a bit stuck with the spring. I'm a bit of a technical disaster so thought i'd seek some advice before diving on in. Basically, on the link that Big Sam sent me there are parts labelled B1280 and DP002. It looks like B1280 needs to unscrew but i'm not 100% on this as i tried to give it a little turn and it didn't move a bit. I've broken way too many things through being heavy handed so thought i'd proceed with caution and then DP002, is this just knocked out as it looks like it needs to be on the drawing and if so what with so's not to damage it ? Thanks again for any help anyone can give me  Jim.
  11. brilliant, cheers Sam. I'm sure my next post will start.. i've taken my air rifle apart and now nothing happens at all Joking aside, great starting point and if i can diy it, it'l only cost me £11.50 +p&p. Thanks again mate. Jim.
  12. Hi all, was wondering if anyone would be able to give me some advice on what kind of spring i would need for the above, where to get it from and how to fit it This was my first ever gun of any kind and i've kept stashed away for when my son was big enough to use it. He's been carrying a training shotgun safely and sensibly now for quite some time so i thought the time was right for him to move on. The gun's only small and pretty light so is ideal for him. We went out for a target session last week and unfortunately the pellet was coming out ( sometimes ) and landing about 6ft away. Took the gun to our local (ish ) gunshop who sent it away and they phoned today to say that it's going to cost about £50 give or take a tenner ! Also mentioned the breach seal needed doing. Just don't think the gun's worth £50 spending on it so if anyone thinks it's possible for me to do myself for say.. £20 post away  Thanks a lot, Jim.

    rabbit flu

After reading a few more articles it seems that cats and dogs are common carriers of it and it's not limited to rabbits. I would guess that the farmer that died just got really unlucky. Maybe for peace of mind though, gloves wouln't be a bad idea ? I'll certainly make sure my lad wears them in future. Professor Sheila Crispin, president of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, said that he had been very unfortunate. “The disease can kill off rabbits fairly quickly, but there’s no particular risk to other animals. There’s no mention in our veterinary textbooks of risk to humans. This young man has been very unfortunate.†Freda Scott-Park, president of the British Veterinary Association, added that because of its rarity doctors would not necessarily know what to look for. She said that, if someone had been bitten by a dog or cat, then GPs should be aware of the potential risk. The Health Protection Agency said that there were only a handful of cases of humans being infected with Pasteurella multocida, usually from cats and dogs, each year and that deaths were very rare. A spokesman added: “It is a treatable disease if it’s caught soon enough and antibiotics can clear it up. “However, it is when the infection travels to the blood that it can be fatal. It is extremely rare for people to get it and even more so for them to die from it.†A case of the snuffles Pasteurella multocida is named after Louis Pasteur It is believed to be present in up to 75 per cent of cats, 50 per cent of dogs and 10 per cent of rabbits It is most likely to occur in animals under stress, for example if they are being transported Symptoms in animals include nasal discharges, sneezing, conjunctivitis, clogged tear ducts and abscesses If a human is infected with the bacterium a course of antibiotics can kill it if diagnosed quickly. Symptoms include fever, rashes and other flu-like indications Cheers, Jim.
