  1. I have got to say that I tried this the other day and it was delicious, my wife who has refused to eat pheasant on almost every occasion that it has been offered it to her loved it and is looking forward to trying it again. Thaanks for posting it. Chris
  2. Hi spicey if you are a regular at the Jolly you will probably know me.My name is Chris and I am always in there with my wife and our Boxer dog Poppy.

  3. I have just recieved my paw-trait back from Malcolm and I am extremely happy with the result, this is a present for my wife at Christmas and can't wait to see her face. Thank you Malcolm for a very prompt and excellent service. Regards Chris
  4. I made some marshmallow vodka last night I am now shaking it every time I go into the utility room trying to get the marshmallow pieces to dissolve. Mentioned it at my local last night and it now looks as if there is a party in the planning with different people all wanting to bring their various concoctions. I must make sure I have plenty of hangover remedy for the morning.
  5. I used to enjoy fishing for crab like this when I was a youngster ( quite a few years ago ) when I lived in Guernsey, they provided many a meal for the family over the years. I still see people fishing like this on my return trips to "home". Happy memories
  6. A couple of others to try, jelly bean vodka just put jelly beans into a bottle of cheapish vodka and shake regularly till they have all dissolved. Rhubarb vodka, cut two sticks of rhubarb put into a 1.5 litre bottle with 250 gms of sugar add vodka, shake daily till sugar has dissolved leave in cool place for 6 weeks then decant back into bottle leave for a few more weeks if possible. Enjoy
  7. I have never tried them but looking at this post I might have to try and find some, they sound good to me.
  8. If you used the grill for the bacon and sausages you could put loads more in there, maybe fried bread and some black pudding mmmmm
  9. I just checked out their web site as I work just up the road and thought that I could pop in and see if they are open and the web site says STOCK CLEARANCE SALE DUE TO RELOCATION, could be bad orginisation or you might have been ripped off. Will try and see if they are still operating from Romsey over the weekend. Good luck guys. :yp:
  10. Mudpatten I have downloaded the application form but it is a couple of years out of date, do you know if the subscriptions on there up to date? Thanks
  11. Been looking at this and think that I am up for it. Haven't got a dog so would have to rely on someone else for that but looking forward to trying something new.
