  2. having bought and made bipods,tripods short and long the same as hunters vermin on you tube,i have now settled for mark gilchrists quad sticks again on you tube(type in how to make cheap shooting sticks).These are the best ive tried,that sturdy and steady you can zero off them i strongly recommend them,i was going to buy a set of southwick quad sticks when i sold my bipod but the home made ones are just as steady atb dave

    i have the feild smock and the wellies,the smock is not breathable at all and you sweat like **** in it but waterproof wise its not bad for light showers,havent had any probs with the wellies as yet(touch wood) but as has been said you get what you pay for atb dave

  6. tiredness and perhaps even boredom if youve had a good day/night where youve hit everything youve shot at,you get complacent and start to make mistakes,time to call it a day and go home then ab dave
  7. i have recently bought a new mtc genesis for my .22lr,whilst zeroing the rifle(anschutz 1417), at 60yds spot on,half mildot 73yds spot on,then at 84,95,103,107, poi is 1,inch to the left horizontally but spot on vertically,then starts to come back in at 114yds any ideas why,there was hardly any wind when zeroing atb dave

  19. hi dave kit arrived this morning safe and sound,just put it together and tried it in the house,great,will let you know how i get on with it if the bloody weather ever picks up.Quick question the tail switches on both red and green torches just seem to work when they want, any ideas,can i get tail switches to fit the torch over here? once again thanks and atb dave
  20. i have shot two foxes with .22lr,both have been opurtunist shots whilst i was out for rabbits,where the fox has walked up to me to within a distance of no more than 30yds when i have shot them with a heart shot and they have both dropped dead on the spot.A rimfire is more than capable of killing a fox at SENSIBLE ranges atb dave
