If you ever wish to borrow from the bank...they will require collateral..ie mortgage on your house, personal guarantee. Suppliers may also want cash up front or personal guarantee. Look around first and get as many soft loans as possible/required...it's surprising how much working capital you will need. Try and get a rent concession on your unit. Write a business plan covering marketing, production, personel, finance etc...make sure your forecast of sales is well under-pinned by your market research. Good luck...9/10 fail.

Yes...the way of the world I'm afraid. If you have aspirations and ambition you will be tempted to rat on your brothers and that will cost you...but what pays for your kids' bread??? And then there are ethics and morality. Accident...HMMMM ... and if you have a grievance.

Been in lots of unions and quite militant back in the 60/70s. Unions are about the notion of counter-veiling powers. Do you think nowadays that management are in charge or the direct labour force, which is a variable expense? Do you have aspiratons about progression to management? Even NuLabour distance themselves. You decide, but I got out years ago. But be very tactful.

I'm just not convinced the Benelli was worth the money. It strikes me as fll of gimmicks. Have to try the Revo. Already have a great Beretta s1 semi auto ... but not convinced that a Benelli s2 pump gun is worth it.

Yeah...already noticed the Khan's and downloaded their catalogue. Been also looking at Escorts and there does seem to be some similarities between top brands and cheapo guns all made in the same factories in Turkey. I'm just wonderiong if all we are paying for is branding. I'll have to try a PA...if I get my hands on one.

Definately, and likewise the threads in the barrel and on the chokes...clean them everytime.

Just 2 things...don't listen to hecklers/know it alls and don't mount the gun before you call. in addition, check your feet and alter something as soon as you miss. HTH

I've been reading the few threads on here about Revo shotguns. I've already got two O/U which work well on clays along with a semi auto and a rather nice AYA No2. Just looking for a bit more fun especially on what we loosly describe as practical shotgun. Already use my s1 semi auto to great effect but fancy a s2 pump gun also. I narrowed it down to a Benelli Super Nova or a Remington 870/887... both costing c£600 and out of stock for miles around. Not sure I want to spend that much on a pump gun anyway and don't want to chance buying a second hand lemon. So I'm waiting for the Sportsman GC to get the consignment of Revo Turkish guns in from the proof house. So here's my question...yes I know it's a cheap gun but bare in mind, a lot of top whack shotguns bearing the above quality names are made in Turkey also. The question? Has anyone got a Revo Field PA and what do you think of it? Please just don't fall behind the usual group think of the gang on here and start singing the same song.

The straight message you should take from here, after all the leg pulling, is to slow down to the limits, imposed by our Government, to help keep us all alive. Yes, I have 2 motors that are limited to 155mph and a clean license cos I do not exceed the speed limits...well not by the amount that would guarantee a ticket from an unmarked etc or cause an accident. 30 in a 30 or you are asking for it...possibly 78 on the motorway, no more. Forget the gizmos that can sense lasers and radar etc, updated every day with the location of yesterday's burger van... we've all done it...if you get caught, take it like a man. B) Else, enjoy the tension and acid in the pit of your gut when driving and the caustic/terrified comments from STMBO...and the after feeling of waiting for the post on Saturday morning and going thru all the aggravation of the summons/ban/hospitalisation/car totalled etc etc
