  1. Not quite. All tunnel traps for use against stoats are effectively under consultation at present, but it looks like all of the currently available bodygrip and fenn traps won't be licensed for stoats going forward. Last I heard the changes will be implemented April 2020 at the earliest. The gwct website has the most up to date info on this topic.
  2. I was talking to a couple of highland stalkers recently who had good things to say about the latest version of the ridgeline smocks, the elite mk2 I think? They had the same negative comments as everyone else about the original ridgeline fabric, but felt this new one was an improvement. They certainly get to test their kit more than most as subject to some severe weather up there.
  3. At the risk of a thread hijack, how common are these and which manufacturers offer it as an option? To the op. Handle some supposed right handed guns too. You may be surprised how little cast they have and that they mount ok for a lefty. I found a beretta like that.
  4. That seems a lot of gun for the money Good luck with the sale.
  5. Mate of mine has one and struggling with it. Don't think it helps that he went with 26" barrels on what is already a very light gun.
  6. A bargain for someone! Novice
  7. Now that's my sort of bag. You are very fortunate to live in a part of the country with such varied sporting opportunities available. Well done on making the most of them throughout the year.
  8. I had an outing with Brian a couple of days ago. Cracking estate with plenty of red and roe. One things for certain, Brian will pull out all the stops to get you onto deer.
  9. I guess nocturnal ploughing is one of the farming practices that hasn't done the species many favours...
  10. That's an impressive piece of wood on a gun of that grade. Well done for giving it another lease of life.
  11. Very nice. If I was local to you I'd be very tempted. Best of luck with the sale.
  12. Now that I really like. Got a hankering for a pistol gripped sbs. Find the straight hand stock doesn't suit me. Just need an excuse to travel to harpenden!
  13. How do you find the reticle when illuminated? The "christmas tree" effect is what puts me off over the 60. Sako, apologies for the thread hijack. Although if you'd take a straight swap for a 3-12 zeiss Diarange scope, then I'd take a punt and learn to live with the reticle. Just let me know. Unless Fizz buys yours and sells me one of his with the 60 reticle!
  14. If it was the #60 reticle I would have been sorely tempted myself.
  15. Any more news on how people are getting on with these? Seems a very useful concept.
  16. The Zeiss is a bargain. Good luck with the sale. Novice
