I just went to join this forum and discovered I had already joined........in 2010! I may have been drunk at the time!!!! So - I started shooting pigeons when I was 9 and have shot a lot of them in the subsequent 40 years. I moved to Somerset in 2010 but have not shot a pigeon since then, as I lost all my permissions when I left Devon and have since shot mostly driven game. I am giving up driven-game shooting as I can no longer afford it and want to get “back to my roots” a bit. I shoot two old side by sides and a Beretta 20b. I salmon fish and am getting back into deer stalking and am an active member of two other forums, My best bags over decoys are 97 alone (when I was 16!) and 163 with a hide-partner. My best bag roost-shooting is 31.
