  10. Got offered a 2005 grand Cherokee 3.0v6 crd with full history and 155k on the clock. Towed a caravan a bit but nothing major. They want £1500 and seems a good car for what I want it for- driving through woods, dogs, deer etc Any negatives to look out for? Mpg I am not worried about.

  15. Lapland is a good place good place for this. I have a co fact but price is around €1000 for 3 days hunting shooting black grouse, hazel grouse and cappercaillie
  16. I use a 28” for local farm shoots where low birds are , using 28g 7’s and a 32” for decent stuff with 32g+ Found light weight long barrels with fixed chokes a dream to shoot but no good for me if partridges are bursting over a hedge 15 metres away Horses for corses
  17. Why so many are worried about lead being banned I don’t know. I honestly don’t think it will/would happen for a long time and you can happily shoot standard steel 28-32gr through any gun as long as your gun is 70mm or longer and the recommend advice is 1/2 or less choke but I, like many on here have shot steel through chokes from 1/4 to full for many years with no ill effects. My friend runs a big duck shoot and supplies gamebore steel to all guns and he’s never had a problem or complaint. This year he is moving to the new eco wad steel for environmental purposes
  18. 24” means it been bulged and cut down .
  19. True but for example Llechweddygarth you can shoot it and I have seen it done with a side by side and 30g 4’s, choked 1/2 & 3/4. Infact the day in late October we are there one friend will use his 16g over under with 28g 4.5’s and does ok. My other friend with his Rizzini Exmoor guns designed for extreme stuff will do better but marginally
  20. Exactly. If you have a bit of choke and a decent cartridge then your ok. These high bird shoots aren’t new; been there for long time where most people turned up with 28/30” game guns and used 30-34g 5’s. Nowadays we have more specialised equipment To make it a bit easier but the principle is still the same. IMO one of the sweetest handling guns is/was a 32” gold e beretta . Saw many of them used in West Country as single guns or pairs
  21. So what. Many things are. 5 pages of moaning now and it’s boring just carrying on
  22. Online! Damn we still paper and pen and stamp and envelope down here. Sometimes with a wait of months also
  23. Where I live is coastal and I always worried about my dog chasing and going into the brambles then falling to her death but luckily it never happened and I avoided those areas but I’d almost rather see someone fall off it than my dog
  24. Just take a transfer or ask for plain old cash and do what I do and spend £270 on a cash counter machine which detects fakes and does euros also, but some days maybe 60k cash we go through my hands so is worth it for me
  25. Modern Cappa hunted in Bulgaria 2016 and mounted in Austria. Glass done in UK. 9/10 £1000 picked up
