So I am a fool for reading up on what all the other scientists and countries have done? Yet you quote” “The fact is that all you achieve by shutting the country down is that it slows down the infections rate. It doesn’t stop it, people still die, and when the restrictions are eased the virus flares up again. -The quicker a country gets the majority of the population immune the quicker it will recover” You came from the same school of thought as Bojo then – basically rambling nonsense – what other counties agree to your musings? The Uk has same rate as Italy now haven’t it? – your gamble better work , are we not going to lockdown this week-now- Like all the other counties then ? Also if you cannot make sense of my ‘ramblings’, I suggest you take some time out to learn English a bit better. “In your earlier post you talk about people just going into debt as though that is a small thing.” Actually I said this- “But the economy I guess would tumble and normal people would as mostly in debt, go quickly into negative equity, so IMO the reason for ‘heard immunity’ it always about the Green” So slight misinterpretation on your part then, and ironically for you actually agree with me, it’s all about the green. Go and charge you Tesla, and save the Planet, but discard the people over 65 that live on it. I would say I hope you sleep well at night, but the sad thing is you and so many others will, dreaming of money not sheep. I always wondered how any Government would introduce Eugenics’ into our society, like the Guy Bojo employed-Andrew Sabisky, if you bother reading any of his papers, you realise he talks some real honest sense- problem is ethically its way Taboo hence why he lasted 24 hours. The ever increasing sophistication of AI means we will soon have little labour left which needs human involvement, ,boredom like we will find out in 9 months, means breeding , who will pay for our welfare in the future if no-one hardly works? So you label me a conspiracy theorist like Sabisky then the guy Bojo employed? How did he slip through the net if your man is so clever? Like Sabisky , I think that it would have been slowly brought in via, sterilization or reduction of children allowed, as we cannot afford the social system, when less and less people will work. I really thought it would be a hard sell for any ‘civilised’ Government to achieve. Yet this recent event, has made me realise the idea of the survival of the fittest, is very real and easily accepted and justified, peoples easy acceptance of allowing the less productive members of our society to be sacrificed is the thin end of the wedge, and a reflection on how our society would accept it. For me it’s an awful sobering thought, yet it will become reality at some point I am sure, I cannot see how if there is no use for the population, the government will want or care to feed us. We have to have some USE else clearly, as shown recently will quickly be discarded. Just didn’t think it would be accepted thinking so quickly. I knew this post would maybe wind people up as its content, but I don’t care if you agree or not, just felt the urge to post as such Hypocrisy in our world, and a lot of us including me are guilty of it.

Ok so inevitably get called a Conspiracy loon. So before you reach your already conclusion I will get record straight of what I think. I do think it originated from China as most of its family of Virus does, as to if it was a Bioweapon gone wrong – who knows? I don’t and have not got a clue –its pure guesswork on anyone’s part. I do think China though lead the field in genetic research, and do think they don’t really conform to any ethical restrictions so will logically advance in that field far quicker than any western country. I do think that a lot of counties did/do have an interest in eugenics as it documented isn’t it? I don’t for any moment think any modern country would start using implementing it as would be unethical uproar. China? Again pure supposition, but I would not put it past them; DNA is the future of the advancement of the human race that is no conspiracy at all. Any Capitalist countries will be screwed as such economically, and will I imagine get worse so we are all in similar impending financial crisis. Pure conjecture on my part as to loads of older people dying and already ill dying, and will make a beneficial long term financial impact on Government after it has run its course. I keep on reading about on this very forum and elsewhere how they are unproductive and a drain on our recourses my conjecture originates from that accepted consensus TBH. I don’t for any reason think or suggest UK / Boris deliberately infected us on purpose, that defies any logic as all about the money, so if we had a cure as such , of course I think the Government would distribute it to UK population first as we would carry on being productive. But I do think our government/Boris have made the decision on not to close down country based on economics, rather than established methods everyone else is using, that seem to be working. I do still do think it’s hypocritical of the government to make out they gave a damn when they really don’t. I aint no loon

Okay so have been ‘self-isolating’ since 31st of December last year with slipped disc, now as just get better this, so have had some time on my hands J So read a lot on 24hr/3days/3hours air atomisation, and how it spreads, I really think it’s correct, it has been studied before in its relatives virus family so the accepted slandered. My Niece works at BA and is still flying everywhere at moment, I worry for her. Yet Uk and RM know better, like how? By ignoring known facts? As Matt Hancock, the UK Secretary for health and social care, clarified after criticism of the UK government: “Herd immunity is not our goal or policy. It’s a scientific concept.” Most of the people I Love and cherish are at risk in your ‘scientific concept’ The general consensus at the moment is a cure will be found next year, now whether that is likely who knows? But it has more probability than a ‘scientific concept’ hasn’t it? You could have contained the outbreak ASAP and stopped it spreading, but had to be contained for maybe a year. But the economy I guess would tumble and normal people would as mostly in debt, go quickly into negative equity, so IMO the reason for ‘heard immunity’ It always about the Green. So Our Government has Remembrance Day once a year, we all Patriotic salute the veterans as they walk by, humbled by their sacrifice often with tears in our eyes. A yearly exhibition put on by our government telling us “Lest we not forget” these brave people. Yet now the same Government has well not only forgotten them, but abandons them to “A scientific concept”? Again is this not a bit hypocritical?

It’s of my opinion over the years of viewing this forum that is quite patriotic. There have been many threads when Remembrance Day comes around or any major war ‘Anniversary’ really poignant ones, and some very moving. I always get quite emotional when I see fewer and fewer Veterans, of WWII each year as have watched this Parade from my younger days with my late Gran on telly. I have read many books on the bravery and sacrifice that is awe inspiring and almost reads like fiction as so un-believable. These increasingly frail veterans have so many medals of bravery that it is almost a burden to carry. I remember a while ago a post about basically “should we just move on about the war and forget it” well needless to say PW majority annihilated OP, I remember it stirred up some passion in response. And I totally agree, we would not be in our very cushy lives if not for these people so agree with the PW collective for sure. Yet you all seem clearly to be majority Tory, and therefore have a bone on for Boris and anything he does and defend his actions. Dr. John Campbell seems like a pretty switched on guy and knows what he is talking about regarding Corvid 19, I know some will be familiar of him already. So every county that has locked down immediately has prevented the spread of virus by containment – fact? But not Boris, he knows better, he decides to keep everything open, My Postman, says it basically business as ususal at RM, but like permeant Christmas lots of mail lots of parcels. 24 hour 3 days contamination on paper/plastic surface – fact? RM then, pretty good distribution for virus – fact? People self-isolating catch it from introducing contaminates into safe space-Fact? – Like mail than. Or am I being conspiracy loon? But he admits to “herd mentality” so wants this distribution to happen wants it to peak and overwhelm the NHS with a potentially and likely massive mortality rate. So knows he is liable to now kill of a huge population of older and vulnerable people, but hey so what? There are only old and not productive anymore, weak members of our society a burden on resources, so survival of the fittest –What! -What! Now if you wanted a Eugenics program that killed of the least productive members of society, which has been going on since Victorian times up until 1970’s with the rapid onset of Anti-War and CND, equal rights explosion into people conscious meant IMO these theories have now, much like DNA science has been largely hidden due to ethics. You got to admit, this virus then is pretty handy for any Capitalist county? No-one’s fault but Virus mate really sorry about grandma dying- more like really damn handy thanks covid-19 Problem is all the war veterans that you apparently love so much and are so patriot over will likely die with you mans ‘Gamble’. But the man you all voted for and love so much has thrown these veterans to the Lions without a care in the world. I think that is massively hypocritical, these people are not insignificant, but in fact way more worthy than most to try and protect as they have earned it, most of us haven’t- fact? My question is if you are all so patriotic, why do you think Boris so great?

    No need...

I have followed this forum for many years and it has changed. It is very one sided, only a handfull of people challenge the PW massive. Henry is one of the few, i may not agree with all what he says , but he at least provides some evidance to back himself up- which is rubbished at evey turn, most offer only their opinion. If this forum is a slice of average Uk people, it is starting to follow the path of opinions being more important than any facts, or History , just how well you spin it,same as our Goverment then? i dont care how rose-tinted i may think Henery D glasses are, i am pretty sure he dont subscribe to Social Darwinism, i do and so do most on this site IMO, you just dont know it. His online persona to me is someone of integrity, at the moment most on here are like a pack of wolves, its not good or nice is it?
  6. Cannot have enough torches, if these are not sold too anyone else will have both of you please - just let us know payment details.
  7. Appreciate the replies, have time on my hands at mo as ligament injury (fell off steps). I did a C&G inspection exam last year it cost me and 9 other students £1100 each. 10 days course with one guy teaching you, I got on well with tutor and after 2nd day helped train some of the other lads on practical side- Asked him how much he was getting a week =£750. So £11k profit -£1500 - C@G entrance exam fee- not sure how much, but I know it is not loads.-so over 8k profit. So if you wanted to send kids on some sort of thing normally you would have to raise £11k - reality around £2000 needed that is a big difference is it not? These training centers absolutely shaft you for the cost and profit margin is terrific. I would try and get retired time served guys to volunteer their services to help train -the logic that if they wanted to be there it would be for all the right reasons. -I personally know a lot of guys that are getting fat and bored I think a lot of companies with a bit of publicity would donate materials -Basic Bricklaying /plastering stuff is cheap ,cable for electrics likely to be the most expensive-but you could source old color’s and sleeve it for peanuts-there is also a LOT of waste in building that could be re-used for training purposes. Think it could be nearly self-funding after a while because of profit you could make on selling property’s - the bigger the property the more profit you obviously make its not percentage based is it-I have done houses up all my life for other developers and my sister retired at 40 via property development so know the figures as such. Boxing ring would be the discipline - you could have sliding scale - more crime more time getting boxed up or be banished - I would give you the choice - except your punishment and all move on -slate clean - no reminder of what you did bad last week to remind you that you fail at things. H&S and do-gooders would not allow this – (boxing side) but really think it would work you would need some sort of punishment-you know some people will try it on. Boxing has always been great at giving violent kids an outlet-plus it would be fair. This would only work if it used existing ideas for basic foundation but introduce real radical ones as well. Myself and best mates have all had violent/ drink/ drugs /crime problems in past and I am not naïve about what goes on as such-but we all have come through it.
  8. Okay so to atone for my sins of slating the USA, and being so negative, I thought I might write something positive to balance it out. I personally think the closure of youth clubs, and such like over the years leads kids not many options if they would like to avoid getting Pished on street corners - many are not literate enough to enter college even if they inspired to. Set up a training centre to teach building skills –practical stuff from bricklaying to Electrics. Less academic kids could learn decorating Plastering/ Bricklaying – the more technical savvy Heating -Engineers Electrics. I would sponsor or move the local boxing club/MMA club and build a really decent gym that would be at the centre as well. The sponsored fighter’s would train there and the facilities available for anyone to use to get aggression out if needed. I would employ people with a spark/passion for teaching and that know the trade well. Set up a basic literacy /maths class for anyone who wants to learn or get better at basic stuff. Have a side that buys probate repo houses in local area from auctions. When you get to a decent standard progress from college to above houses and are taught REAL on site problems that college’s NEVER teach. When completed sell houses- all profit goes back in kitty to re-invest pay wages etc. If you get caught fighting you are immediately took into ring above and duke it out. If you get caught dealing bullying etc- you are not binned but have to spend ring time with one of my sponsored fighters for a few rounds. If you choose not to take your punishment there and leave fine– if you want to come back –step in the ring – you will not escape it. I would welcome anyone through the doors, no referral needed just drop in –if you like what you see dive in. If you wanted to learn how to plasterboard a room out – you could at least get a job as a Plasterer’s labourer and make real money in less than a week –If you wanted to do a full C&G and actually become qualified – that’s down to your dedication and commitment. Those that could be bothered would indeed I think shine –those who couldn’t would clearly not. Those with decent attendance are rewarded with a night out when we have a sponsored boxing match. If you could create a positive vibe, I really think students there would probably encourage others to join – any trouble THE RING BECKONS instant karma if you are an idiot. I would encourage former students to teach if they had a spark – they could take the apprentices on the real houses as such – some could relate better to them I guess. I really think something like this could work and be relatively self-funding due to flipping the properties. If I personally won the lottery tomorrow I would set it up myself. I would love to do something positive like this.
  9. Uk has been bang at it for ages: https://www.ft.com/content/addd777e-de43-11e7-a8a4-0a1e63a52f9c https://inews.co.uk/news/uk/ministers-rush-close-scottish-corporate-secrecy-loophole-amid-money-laundering-claims/ One of the main reasons property is so expensive in London and no tenants in a lot of them .
  10. So fair enough you all Love America and say it has had no influence on our Culture and we have imported no ideas from them at all. If you read my reply to the FIRST response I held my hands up and thought well yeah it is a pretty diverse place – so that guy changed my opinion and made me see my errors straight away Comparing Florida like Blackpool – so I have been educated as such . But other than inspiring me to want to maybe visit it again in the future, the rest of you have basically repeated the first response. Just like your Love of the diversity America brings why cannot you accept that opinions (however mad you think they might be) can be equally diverse? Do you not think the world would be pretty boring if everyone thought the same?
  11. This is not going away though is it? Unless cap is put on the children you are allowed to have if you are never going to work it will just get worse and worse the next generation of these kids is going to be bad – their Grandparents are not likely to have even worked. I might be pretty simplistic and I see things very black and white - for a hypothetical example: I love dogs- have one Staffy , feed him the most expensive food and occasionally wedged out loads of money for vets. If went and bought 9 dogs I could not afford to look after them financially or indeed walk them without help – would people help pay me to feed them pay vet bills? If they went round attacking loads of other dogs, would people feel sorry for me because let’s face it controller 9 staffys would be pretty difficult would it not? So it’s not MY fault. No, I would say most people would be like you’re a fool, why the hell should we pay for your selfish stupidity- you clearly knew you would have problems by having so many you need to except some responsibility? But it’s MY right I cry I love my dogs and I WILL have as many as I want! Substitute the dogs above for children and all of a sudden it’s totally different? It’s just madness-if these dysfunctional parents cannot look after one child is a pretty forgone conclusion they will struggle with loads more-it’s just basic logic. If I had children I would Love them– I would try and bring them up with all MY faults ironed out – to teach them, watch them grow and flower into something beautiful –is that not the point of wanting children? But for the many women I know over the years none of above it’s just an easy life choice. Some cannot be bothered to take them to school as they cannot cope, Social Services get involved and do you know what happens? They start picking the kids up in a taxi and take them. Now that is although annoying is what the kids need-But problem is the same woman can still keep having loads more – it’s wrong on so many levels.
  12. Sorry if I came across a severe American bashing , kind of realised after first comment and thinking how big and diverse the states are (and thinking of many documentary’s I have seen ) Florida was probably not the best place to maybe work/stay for months when I was so young and impressionable. – Maybe the fact Florida was more of an older persons place as well. Disney land was the only tourist place I actually went really- and only because my Dads wife had never been and he didn’t want to go. I would Love to visit Alaska as the wilderness side appeals to me a lot, and maybe could relate to the people better, I certainly would have gone to the Southern 4 x4rally if I was there. Blackpool if the only place someone visited, would I guess look pretty bad as well – my memory was everyone drunk loads of shell suits –pub/nightclub toilets that you needed wellies to visit and offered out to fight more times than any ware else in my life – so yes would not be too good for a overseas visitor. I still was speechless at the size of the people –I genuinely had never seen people that big in Uk- but the fast-food is so cheap and quick and All you can eat restaurants’ were in abundance- I could understand why you might easy end up overweight cheap food and incredibly cheap booze. But still think we have adapted a lot of bad stuff –certainly blame culture which leads to H&S madness and warning stickers everywhere telling you common sense stuff. Rap and the glorifying of gang culture is 100% from over there IMO though.
  13. Yes i watched the first one and would love to go to that Redneck rally - also yeah that programme was a lot better than I thought - some real interesting views regarding trump. I guess rather unfairly I picked up all the bad points about the States, but do really feel we have for whatever reason adopted a lot of their culture-and I don't think we needed to . Don't think for one moment its all bad , but we had our own - which IMO is being diluted.
  14. Henry – like I say mate- I might not agree with you but you come out with some interesting stuff and unusual angles. The prison you shown –to me is to induce a perceived paranoia in the very fact you don’t know if you are being watched so likely to keep you in constant state of tension. You could compare it to the all seeing eye of religion and potential sin –a way to control through being paranoid about something is ALWAYS watching you. It more or less must be like that now I guess in modern prisons-I used to work for a company and fitted domes in prisons-they were very expensive so not many as such fitted –but now cameras are peanuts and everywhere – There is already a thing about hacking smart TV’s to be able to watch you along with phone /laptop/ webcam we are defiantly coming to an Orwellian type state. The police rely on CCTV and seizing the perps mobile and using Cellebrite phone extraction techniques to retrieve ALL your data not just relevant bits-how far can should they go back? I think the reliance on these techniques will unfortunately dilute proper police crime solving skills. Crime defiantly pays, I live on council estates and know quite a few pretty dodgy people- a lot are loaded TBH only the stupid ones are in and out of prison. It’s all about your Moral compass and responsibility – but that has to be installed in you from parents /role models from birth really-something as simple as brushing your teeth ,tiding your room teaches you to respect your stuff and having to do things that you don’t like or see point of maybe when you are young. Parents now buy a mobile/tablet and use it as an electronic babysitter for example – phones are simply an addiction – I cannot believe how people don’t see that.(maybe they just don’t care). But my points about a cap on children I think is valid – it just promotes entitlement for doing nothing, plus a selfish attitude towards the rest of society. I am 49 and have seen kids grow up on my estate – wag school smoke weed, get no qualifications no pride – but nobody pushes them – I love Bikes and some would be interested in fixing them and would be eager to learn –something tangible to get into- I NEVER had any trouble with the youths TBH as I would always treat them just normal and get on with loads – they cry out for a bit of attention which often never comes-hence gangs. A few of them have topped themselves over the years or end up down the nut house due to drug abuse – I have watched the rise and fall of children that aint even mine and it’s sad – whether you like it or not SOME parents see them as a meal ticket to lethargic easy lifestyle. Just like when my dog gets attacked by another dog when walking – I don’t blame the dog I blame the owner.
  15. Totally appreciate I was only around the Florida region at the time and a pretty insular view of the pretty big country –but it was what I remember when I was 21 at the time. The things I thought were great for example: The cheapness and availability to do anything like hobbies pastimes I thought was incredible –you could learn to scuba dive and it was peanuts -flying a plane was like a third of the price and an average Joe could afford it not like here. If you wanted to eat well, like a king in fact you could food was really cheap unlike here. The encouragement to achieve success and people admired you for it – here people are often jealous – you won’t find keyed luxury cars in the USA for example. And the press people love success and people who achieve it, our press seem to love slating anyone the first time they trip up. And whenever I think it’s quite blinkered or not they are proud of their country – history /War success-here we are now taught to be ashamed and forget about it. But IMO we haven’t adopted any of the above points- we seem to adopt the bad. In my previous post – Obesity problems big is beautiful diabetic kids are great?– yes just a bit. Violent crime gang gun culture – yes. Stupid OTT red tape for the simplest tasks which years ago would be common sense? Check. Violent crime common place and not often even headline news – yes. Social media culture which promotes young girls to ‘sex’ themselves up on their profile pictures for more superficial likes – sex everywhere really as it will always sell –I think so. More and more materialistic society which promotes debt/spending on superficial stuff when most of the time it’s not needed- we are massively in debt. People believing the papers social media whatever they seem to say – I really think so the general British public seem to be a lot more gullible I think. Suing culture we have embraced- come on now do I even have to explain that? Channels full of total banal **** – Love Island Anyone Remember though! Not saying I am right just thought might make an interesting topic to discuss – which is what I like about forum- I will always change my opinions if someone shows me a better way or educates me on something don’t know so everyone opinion is 100% valid in my book even if I don’t agree – that is what a debate is all about – different people views. Scully - always think you come across as sound so totallly respect your views on this forum
