  1. Very nice store and helpful staff but a little expensive I find. Some good deals at times though. ref the unlocked racks it is nice but I had a 5p/50p moment in there one day when a customer had a live round with him and chambered it in the store much to the sales guys alarm! I overheard him saying he just wanted to make sure it chambered the rounds he had as he had some trouble with the neck on other rifles.. Seemed genuine but raised a few pulses in the store!
  2. At work now until Friday but when home I will get some new pictures
  3. Just an update, after an outing in the wet there was some water marking on the stock after doing my best to remove them it again happened when shooting clays in the wet so it was recently returned to GMK and I have a new stock now without the knot Otherwise still very happy with it
  4. Been waiting about 5 weeks now for Devon & Cornwall to return it, Not heard anything yet I will call them this week if I dont get it back soon and see what the delay is.
  5. Got the Perennia back on Friday evening GMK replaced the stock with another one. better looking wood than last time and looks very nice so far, hopefully when it gets its next wet outing it stays that way.
  6. I had a similiar problem with my SV10 stock so returned it to my RFD a few weeks ago and it has been sent back to Beretta awaiting the return of it and I will post up the results be nice if they upgrade my wood for the hassle they have caused.
  7. There is a shooting shop approx 30Mins from our place in France and the decoy kit is very good and they have a great clothing selection but in comparison it is quite expensive. Something I will be looking at in the future is the difference between cartridges compared to here. be interesting to see if there is much difference.
  8. I used to buy the Remington but my local RFD hasn't had any in for a long time so I have switched to Hornady and find them very good. Cheaper too in my shop
  9. ^ totally agree all my permissions are in writing and held in a folder in my car so I have them to hand when out shooting along with Google Earth boundaries clearly defined
  10. What do people think will happen with the retail prices of Beretta shotguns with the current economic climate and inbound global issues with the Dollar etc? Will they survive the issues globally and hold the prices? Will prices rise due to demand and a lack of new ones being made?

i have a 1966 511 at home. Still as accurate as the day it left the factory I reckon.
  12. Anyone know of anywhere in the South west that buy pigeons? Minimum amount etc. I used to store loads in chest freezers years ago just pulled the tail feathers out to save on freezer space. Do they buy them like that frozen?
  13. That's not good I'm sure the farmer has known for some time then! Does he have any other land?
  14. Have to feel for the family. I wont miss her though just have to hope Pete Doherty will follow her lead now
  15. Looks like a good scheme they have teaching them to weld and learn skills. Our prisons operate a similar scheme I believe but not to this level. Makes perfect sense to educate them as a majority of the lowlife in my local area have a severe lack of education and I do believe it is a big factor in crime. Re-offending rates compared to ours certainly back this up.
  16. One left fella's ready to send out once payment is in my Paypal account. Happy to accept a Cheque if you dont have paypal.
  17. Just spoke to them on the phone (Devon & Cornwall) and they asked how long I had held my FAC (Since 2008) and asked the reason I was after an Open cert to which I said I have recently acquired more land and they said it shouldn't be a problem and to send a letter reflecting our discussion and it should be no problem. Will update when I have a reply
  18. When I shot my 1st Fox I buried it sounds daft but I felt bad leaving it out just to decompose and had some respect for it so gave it a burial only took 10mins with a spade. As mentioned above ensure whatever you do with them they are out of sight otherwise it can easily turn into an own goal if the Antis find them.
  19. What is the case background? Whiplash? Seem to be millions of these companies now and they boil my **** to be honest I'm forever getting messages telling me I may be entitled to compensation for the accident I had.. What accident!! 99% of them are just out to take money from you and raise insurance premiums across the board.
  20. ^ When you buy a SAK nod though it says not to dismantle it or clean the insides as the residue in there is hazardous. I once cleaned one out on my CZ and the residue was unreal and left marks all over my cleaning bench. Nasty residue in there.
  21. Heard of this before on rounds after being fired but not before
