  1. Between me and my ex wife we have four Tollers. Litters are fairly scarce over here. We had a litter of ten a couple of years ago, not that many working over here but msg if you need any Toller owning advice or breeders info. Azzurri.
  2. I have the same problem with my HTC one-m8, updated it yesterday. Now it's completely useless, slow, freezes with non stop notification tones until you check mail, FB, texts etc. Phoned HTC helpline today and they said they were really sorry but couldn't help and that I should be patient as Google were aware and a fix was in the pipeline.... Would getting the old iPhone unlocked (EE) and using my o2 sim work as this situation is crazy ? Any suggestions would be appreciated !!!! Azzurri.
  3. Whilst I wish you luck in your venture I think your efforts would be better spent setting up a rival organisation to the CPSA....you'd pinch their entire competition membership overnight such is the regard the CPSA is held in these days !!!!
  4. I heard they are charging £7.50 per round of 25 targets...not sure how true this is, has anybody any more info ? Azzurri.
  5. I bought a sawdust burner...saves making briquette's Good value for money on the bay Azzurri.

    Tony Blair

I hate the ******, saw straight through the lying **** years ago...but I missed the bit about him getting sentenced in his absence, who passed sentence on him and why wasn't his sentence carried out ? Genuine question by the way. Azzurri.
  7. Same targets month after month, I haven't been for a couple of years, just got sick of supporting the place. The str in front of the clubhouse was always the same...you couldn't see the targets for all the flipping signs. And how many years were those two targets on on the stand next to the str, it's just laziness on David's part. You can understand it though when the majority of people just want to turn up, blat a few clays then go to the pub afterwards rather than be challenged by a decent variety of new targets every few weeks. If the new owners do everything opposite to the previous owner then they'll be onto a winner ;-) Azzurri.
  8. Possible different primer in the 24gm perhaps ? I never had a misfire with Golden Trap 28gm but they're just a bit dear for me, great shell though !!
  9. I stopped using FBlacks for the same reason, more misfire's with them than any other cartridge i've used...ever !!! I replaced the pins in my Browning which did help but I also think the primers varied from batch to batch. They are good carts when they go bang and I shot one of my highest scores at registered sporting with them, but the level of doubt whilst you're trying to put a score together is something you just don't need. I know people who shoot FBlack through Beretta and they seem to go off without problem. Azzurri.
  10. I shot my mates F3 Pro last night, I like it and it breaks targets well. Can anyone tell me how much weight can be fitted to the barrels to shift the balance forward ? Azzurri.
  11. I'm with Pegleg31 on this, that's deffo a stretcher course. The inside edge of the stretcher will probably be sat on a 2" x 4" and the external is now basically sat in fresh air. When the house was built I'd put money on the original boxed sliding sash frame having a solid head which when it was "lugged in" properly will have been enough to take the outside of the stretcher course. I'd recommend a new lintol be fitted above the plastic frame or better still phone me up and I'll make you a new sliding sash frame to match what was there originally ;-) Azzurri.
  12. Agreed. Cameron & Clegg are a proper pair
  13. The HI is just one shoot and won't bother most people...the fact is grounds in the north don't seem to want to put regular monthly registered sporting competitions on. If you're a northern sporting shot and want to shoot registered comp on a Sunday we now have to travel out of region to do so. Azzurri.
  14. It's a shame the shoot has been cancelled, this ground is so under used, there's been some good shoots there in the past. For my money if a ground has Premier Plus Status then a condition of having this status should be to hold a registered comp once a month and not once or twice a year as has been happening. This prem plus status is great to use in your advertising when you're introducing new people to our sport but absolutely no good whatsoever for registered competition shooters in the north region. Azzurri.
  15. I know that. I was referring to Wills post regarding cpsa booklet number 5. I was trying to say that if a shoot is cpsa registered the standard of reffing from registered shoot to registered shoot varies. I've seen people flaunting the eye protection rule, well known shots in some cases and the refs just let them carry on.... Azzurri.
  16. EE you'd earned the right to show off a little after a stunning performance like that B) I had to content myself with slightly bending my right knee and punching the air at waist height as i'd left my red posing pouch at home Azzurri.
  17. Ohhh my head hurts....i'm taking up Dtl, this is getting complicated
  18. If ref's were doing their jobs properly they wouldn't let people shoot their stands without eye protection....but then there are refs and refs aren't there and some shooters know how to bend the rules don't they Azzurri.
  19. I think the shoot is loosely run to cpsa rules, certainly classifications, but not all other normal registered rules apply. Glasses aren't compulsary (which is great news) and also you can use any cartridge you like (which is even greater news). As for viewing a pair of targets I fully agree with you, if you're the first man on the next stand get there early for a really good look before you shoot, it makes things much easier for yourself if you trot off in front of your squad mates for an early preview of what other shooters are doing and how they're shooting the targets. Azzurri.
  20. 7ex8 on the singles stands is some shooting mate, you'll remember those two stands for some time....maybe even tell the grandchildren about it a few times...I know I would I first barrelled all four on the black course with 3\4. I was well happy with that but only hit the crosser and bunny on the red course, I was tired by then, first time i've felt tired shooting it all in the same day, might have a change of plan if we do it next year Azzurri.
  21. Well shot EE, glad you enjoyed the shoot I thought there were just too many going away birds this year and i'm sure they advertised the shoot as being on different ground....didn't seem to be on different ground to me, infact a helluva lot of the stands were in the same positions as the last two years I did enjoy most of the shoot, especially the four singles on the end of the black course I didn't shoot well on the red course, 7 stands with 1 away on and a couple of bad stands left me on 83 but 88 on black wasn't too bad. Azzurri.
  22. Why spend a fortune on a custom made stock for a gun which will invariably cost less than a grand ? I've shimmed auto's in the past successfully by double shimming as has been mentioned. You can file shims, relieve the bolt hole in the shim and heaven forbid even raid the recycling bin at home for odd bits of plastic, washing up liquid bottle plastic works well. There's nobody more fussy than me when it comes to gun fit, but that's probably another topic for another day...plenty of info online...you just need to google it :-) Azzurri.
