  1. Before I retired I often authorised transactions for fuel for the navy that were often 5000,000 to 1,000,000 litres and once had the privilege of pressing the button to spend just under £20 ,000,000 of tax payers dosh on some SHhhhhhhhh equipment during the Gulf war
  2. Typically around £5k to £7k,but as you live s.e. That'll probably add £3-£4K to the end price

  8. In the U.S. I always used hodgdon clays ,Winchester wads, cci 209 primers and Remington or Winchester hulls, Over here it's good old As ,b&p wads, fiocchi primer and still use Remington or Winchester hulls. I prefer the clays powder as its a bit cleaner ,but overall happy with what I shoot
  9. Don't you think Cameron want to leave Europe to clear the way for jumping into bed with China? I think what he's doing is an absolute disgrace .i would rather live in an independent Scotland and negotiate a better deal in Europe than live with the worry of what China is going to force upon us
  10. That was a great show from Scotland, how close was that
  11. I shot one in the u.s. When they were just released,I liked it so much I bought one on a trip back home. 28 inch barrel and kick-off,only down side is the lack of chokes from Beretta.imo it should have 4. I've shot sporting trap and skeet with it and love it
  12. Last year during the Scottish referendum if it was a yes victory, one of the big threats was "you'll get kicked out of the e.u." Now you want leave and drag us out as you go. ,!, What should we do ? I'm voting to leave, that would change things enough for another vote, then we'll see
  13. Go for the best quality you can afford.A good quality polo will alway look quality ,pay cheap, looks cheap
  14. I always found when you worked odd hours you never struggled with jet-lag when you went overseas
  15. Couple of years ago I took my 682 to shoot trap, done all the paperwork done all the security in both Edinburgh and gatwick, the signing in the numbers check, and the hand over.you have to receive your gun in gatwick and do it all over again . Got to Tampa and spoke to a border control officer to tell him I was expecting a firearm from the flight ,his answer........oh it's probably on the carousel, and sure enough there it was just going round and round ,no fuss and no bother
  16. I always thought about looking into doing this,I'm an amputee and thought there might be a need for extras without extras
  17. For many years I worked a variety of times through out the month, when your duty time was up,if your relief hadn't shown face you had to wait to a relief showed up.sometimes you had to do 18 hours straight sometimes you had to start at 12 midnight. I found if you try to eat at the same times every day and get a good sleep for about 4 hours ,I was always up and able for anything. Retired now and still getting by on little sleep and eat at the same time every day
  18. I don't have a problem buying guns,ammo or reloading supplies.they have a 90 day rule,
  19. We live in a small village,no bars/pubs one shop, community centre and the school is so small they double up the classes .peace and quiet. No traffic and the only hold up is when you have to squeeze over to let the bus past, and the good thing ? Getting snowed in
  20. Ha ha ha Well someone has to leave first
  21. There are about 20,000 suicides in a given year in the US involving guns. There are about 800 accidental deaths. I've never actually heard of a case of a gun owner being murdered by his own gun, outside of family violence.
  22. Most gun killings in America are people that are killed with their own gun,one way or another!!!
