  1. https://www.militarymart.co.uk/collections/waterproof-jackets/products/dutch-army-bilaminate-goretex-jacket?variant=43399925629148 I hvae used one of these for approx 8 to 10 seasons now and have recently ordered another for the future as they are becoming hard to find.. Brilliant jackets, not heavy, excellent wind and water resistance, dry out quickly and easy to look after (stick in in the washing mashine with Nic Wax then into tumble dryer on low and its like new again) I find it a good and roomy with space to layer up underneath if required.
  2. Yes please. If you send me payment details I'll sort out and give you postal address. Thanks.
  3. That's exactly the way I cook mine too, only I prefer a variety grown local to me called Cabaret which are a Maris Piper cross. These have won our local Big Chip-Off compatition a few times in the past and are also in it again tonight. If you are in the Garstang area, why not call into Owd Nells and join six local farmers and a bunch of chip lovers voting for their favourate spud while also raising money for MND charity.
  4. Sorry, mistaken identity then! There was a very similar load thoug about the same time on Saturday. May have been into a Disco though?? They dont half shift some stock there!
  5. So the guess Mrs Sky Gipsy and I had yesterday afternoon when Bryan brought them round on the forklift of 10K was not too far off then. We were parked behind you😀
  6. Was this what you were looking for?
  7. I'll take it please. If you pm me payment details I'll sort out later today. SG
  8. Wild goose chase was first written down by William Shakespeare, in the play Romeo and Juliet in 1595 The term wild goose chase was first used to mean a type of horse race. In a wild goose chase horse race, the lead rider galloped across the open countryside in an erratic pattern. Subsequent riders were to follow at different intervals and had to follow the exact pattern of the lead rider. The idea is of geese flying in formation, following one leader. The exact rules of a wild goose chase are unclear, but it seems reasonable to assume the object is to overtake the leader.
  9. Thanks for that. I watched last night and really enjoyed it.
  10. A favourite of mine is an old classic Keith Floyd recipe for liver stroganoff. Fry thinly sliced liver and onion rings, keeping the liver pink. Then add a tablespoon of flour and cook off. Next add an ounce of butter along with a tablespoon of tomato puree (or mustard if preferred) some paprika and enough soured cream to give the sauce the thickness of your choice. Serve with rice and chopped parsley on top. Delish!
  11. Thanks for all your input guys. I will pack the rods and some tackle away and see what I can do. I trip out on a charter sounds good if I can get time too (Mrs sky gipsy permitting!)
  12. I am heading up to Coldingham, Berwickshire soon and looking for any advise or recomendations on sea fishing around St Abbs, Coldingham Bay and Eyemouth please or any other areas that may be a stop off point while on a day out driving around. Thanks S.G.
  13. http://www.rogermerritt.name/wcountry.html I think you are right!
  14. Thanks, I can see that now I'm home. It didnt show up on my phone, hence the question Re"location". Prehaps you could answer my other question Re "collection only?" for the OP too.
  15. Interested in items 1, 2, 3 and 5 but assume collection only. If so, from where please?
  16. You go ahead. I'm only asking because I've got several of these chokes but looking out for an odd cyl, 1/4 and 1/2 to complete my set.
  17. I had a similar problem a couple of years ago after ordering some Brembo discs for a classic car with Autodoc. A similar experience to you and finally got a refund. Having put this farce to the back of my mind, I fell into the same hole again last Christmas when the heater blower failed on my car. Onlinecarparts.co.uk listed a replacement and delivery time looked good. Oh how happy I was when the order confirmation came back from Adolph Daley! Then the waiting, emailing, waiting etc etc began again. Five weeks later it arrived and I could de-frost and de-mist the windscreen again. If anyone has had good experiences with this supplier then well done, you must be lucky. I have, and will keep on advising anyone else on any forum or reviews NOT to deal with them for the sake of their own sanity. Shop elsewhere!!
  18. I would be interested in the cylinder if you were prepared to split them.
  19. Looks good doesn't it. He produces some fantastic work in bronze. Some folk thought there was a stag loose in his garden in the past🤣
  20. You are very welcome. Maybe we will meet up again in the future when I'm back in the area. Did you go round the corner to look at the hares?
  21. Many thanks for all info given and would welcome any more. Every day is a school day! S.G.
  22. Jimbo I've loaded 12g in the past sucessfully with a LeeLoadall, but for the 10 would I need a machine or could I do it all by hand. What about the crimp? Im not sure if a roll finish would be OK in an auto. I see you love your gold 10. Do you use the factory chokes or aftermarket for your best results. Thanks, S.G.
