  1. That's what i was thinking really. Do you have any recipie ideas for general guidance to start me off please Dave. I have been looking this morning at sites and found Balistic Products "the mighty 10 gauge" which may be usefull, although being US would components be obtainable here from the likes of clay and game? Any help or tips greatly welcomed, Thanks. Yeah, I know! Always fear the man with one gun, but Ive got an itch and may have to sctarch it!!
  2. I keep thinking about getting a 10 bore for geese. I usually shoot an old winchester sx3 12g 31/2" and looked at/ shouldered a browning gold 10 at a local dealer. I knew it would be consideribly heavier than the sx3, and it obviously was, but it seemed in proportion and fairly well ballenced so was happy there. On asking about cartridges, the reply was "We dont have anything except lead due to the current situation". This is no good to me where I intend to use it. I would like some opinion on what factory loads anyone else can get and uses or what route to take should home loading be an alternitive. Many thanks

  19. Entwistle Guns on Plungington Road, Preston closed down some years ago. Vaughn and his family now work from home near Pilling, just down the road from Malmo as Smiler said earlier. I thing many local gun shops use their services too still.
  20. Another vote for Vaughn from me too.
  21. There is Bobbin Mill at Scorton, just off M6 Lancaster services, but Sunday only though.
  22. I have just had a "Oh no, what have I bought now whilst under the influence?!?" moment. Seems it may be a case of mistaken identity though 🙄
