  1. Benelli for me but most importantly - GET ONE THAT FITS YOU!
  2. If your dad has only one good eye, that's the one he will use. Right shoulder - left eye can only work with a crossover stock. Either that or shoot left handed. I have heard that the changeover can be quite quickly acquired. Take him clay shooting and give it a try!
  3. Ask 'Just Cartridges' - they courier all the time!
  4. The ported chokes only work with plastic wads. So if you'ere using felt - no good
  5. Well. How much is it? I couldn't find it on their website!
  6. To answer your question - Although not a UK site I have found www.jeepkj.com a very useful site.
  7. This idea may suit hushpower, but leaving heaps of mutilated pigeons, and in this weather stinking in heaps all over the place does not show us in a very good light!
  8. have a look at www.gridreferencefinder.com
  9. Speaking to a lad today who is in the process of applying for his FAC and he discovered that there were two police logs abpout him speeding! He mdidn't get a ticket but there was a recpord of his activity.
  10. I agree with cranfield. After all - why should the birds be scared off by a net or umbrella or any other form of hide. The golden rule though is KEEP STILL until you are ready to fire
  11. Carp trolley sounds good. I did the same a few years ago, works very well. works even better if you put a BMX front wheel in - its much easier to push and a simple conversion. incidently it doesn't spook the pigeons, why should it?
  12. It may be that you have 'cross dominance' (don't panic!) it means that both eyes see the same, neither one is dominant. Therefore when you do the pointed finger test the eyes both see the finger not moving. My youngest son has the same. We only discovered it when I was trying to explain the dominant eye situaution to him. It was a first to me but easily sorted as discussed earlier by obscuring the left eye if you are right handed or visa versa if left handed. I imagine that when you shoot either eye can for that split second take over and give you the problem you decsribed initially.
  13. very sound advice. same happened to me but the obscuring of the left eye puts it all back to where it should be.
  14. well said mate! sokmetimes its hard to PERFECT!
  15. Look on ebay I got one for 30 odd quid. marvelous bit of kit. now modified it and put a BMX wheel in it - makes it much easier to push! wouldn't be without it!
  16. It's not worth it. Throw it away and buy a new one. The cheapest there is that will do what you want. All the important bits are the same anyway!
