  1. I live in edinburgh and im looking for any land within 1.5hrs drive from the city to get some rabbits with the air rifle. If you have, or know anyone who may, have a rabbit problem that needs sorted then id appreciate if you could get in touch! Im up here at uni and need to get back out with the rifle again before i go mad. Any help appreciated.
  2. im not payin anything yet, im jsut goning to ask a couple of farmers i know if ca nshoot on there land. why?
  3. anyone know of any rough shooting/farm land in the galloway area, preferably near Newton Stewart, that me and a mate could shoot on (shotgun)? i suppose a small payment could be arranged. BASC insurance at hand mike
  4. thinking of getting eihter a baikal, aya or lanber shotguns, but was wondering if any one had ever owned one of them and if there anygood or could recomend another make that would be good for a first gun?

  8. were abouts are you? is the gun o/u or s/s?
  9. so what make would you recomend for me then? i htink the price will be more around 400,can you get berettas at this price?
  10. well my budget will really be 300 to 500 max, but everyone that ive spoken to that has had/got a Baikal said that they are a really good working gun,and that they arent bad but are actually quite good. what types of second hand guns do you recommend?
  11. ah, things making a bit more sense now, thanks for that guys. ive bee nlooking at getting an o/u,and heard that Baikal and AYA were good for a first, all purpose hard wearing gun, what make would you recomend for a beginer? thanks mike
  12. right, im just starting out in shooting, ive shot before but this is the first time that i will have owned a gun. ive jsut applied for my shotgun certificate, and was wondering if anyone could recommend a deceant gun for a beginer, one that is reasonably cheap, but still good enough for rough shooting on farms and stuff? ive heard that Baikal and AYA were good guns for the money,is this true, and if so,how much should i be looking to spend on one? Also, and this may sound very stupid but bere in mind that im a beginer, what is ment by "choke"? thanks mike
