  4. Evening all, I'm after some advice, I'm looking for a pair of Wellington boots, I currently have a pair of chameau vierzonord in a size 14(50) but they are getting shook after 6 years, and I'm really struggling to find some in the right size that don't cost the earth, I priced up some chameau chasseur but at £395 there having a laugh!!!! I'd like full zip if possible need to be size 14(50) ideally wide calf, any suggestions?? Cheers
  5. I am looking for a Contour Roam head cam, I have cash waiting if anybody has one your not using and could do with some cash, pm me Cheers Dale
  6. Evening all, It's not often I do this but I would like to give a company a free plug!!! I am out tomorrow filming with channel 4's River Cottage for an up coming series that's due to go to air in the autumn "River Cottage to the Core" I am taking a head chef out to shoot some pigeons that he will then prepare and cook in the field, the chap I'm taking is a chap I shoot with in the game season, he knew I did quite a bit of pigeon shooting and asked if I Could accommodate him and I said of course I could and would. On Monday I recieved a call from the production/film crew asking if we were still on and to confirm that there would be 7 crew as well as me and the chef. It suddenly dawned on me that my 4 hide poles and 4m stealth net wouldn't suffice!!!! I called Mark at A1 DECOYS and asked if he could assist, we'll today I received 8 new hide poles in 2 bags as well a 1 x 5m stealth camo net and 1 x 4m harvest stealth net delivered to me by 24h courier!!!! In a time when money is tight and the economy struggling to say I was suppress was an understatement!!! What a great bloke!!! So if any of you fellow sportsman need anymore decoying gear please take a look at his website WWW.A1DECOYS.COM Thanks Mark, Your a true gentlemen and you have hot me out of what could have been an embarrassing hole!!! I'll let you all know how the day goes on Friday! Cheers Dale (aka Truckboy1)

  9. Oh dear that not gonna help the cause!!!! Where was the independent spokes person (BASC, NGO, GWCT) Lets be honest as it stands the law is an ***, I could go and shoot walked up pheasant on our meadows with lead but if I see a duck to shoot I need to reload with steel it's a farce!!
  10. Thanks for our replies gents, I must admit I wasn't sure about the legalities and thought I'd find the answers on here, does anybody know where i could get some Greylag eggs next year?
  11. Evening all, bit of a strange question but does anybody know of anywhere where I may be able to find some Canada geese goslings or eggs, we use to have quite a lot down here but the local council have been dipping the eggs and were running short, we are willing to travel, so if you know anybody or local councils that are looking to relocate their goose problems I'd be interested to hear from you Cheers
  12. Evening gents, Silver pigeon 3, you would be more than welcome to book some taster days and to show what sort of club we are if you come and have a day and then decide you would like to join we would only need an extra £120 (take you to the £180 membership rate) also if you take 3 days @ £60 per day you will have covered your membership and would be welcome for the rest of the season Without additional charge!!! Rim fire 4969, as we are a club and shoot Wednesdays team numbers vary weekly, I myself can't make every week but plan to make 6-7 days a season, as above if you wanted to pay per day once you had paid £180 in total you would be welcome for the rest of the season without charge.
