Me neither, hate painting! Presumably it’s on the phone’s pictures section?

That` s a lovely case, but sadly I`m one MacNab short and unlikely to be getting another any time soon.
Had it been for a single gun, I would have snapped it up.
Good luck with the sale.

Quite surprised this took so long to sell, despite all the ultra modern guns sporting all the bells and whistles along with their Carlos Fandango plenum chambers and rows of pointless gauges - the S410 is a legend and just quietly does the job, time and time again.
I’m looking at it now and still amazed at the quality and condition

Will take up to 30” barrels. The outside has marks but not serious. Both locks work but no key.
Measures 32”x 9”x 3.5” externally
I’ve removed the stickers on the lid so marks left which will clean off with an alcohol cleaner.
Dimple foam lining is intact and clean.
Very sturdy case.

As above - Quite unusual to find one of these in good condition. The lining is intact but the “string” needs re threading. A few marks but it’s 80 plus years old.Chin strap in place.
In 1938 the Reichsluftschutzbund was transformed into the Luftschutz (LS). The helmets got a new dark blue color (as opposed to the grey and green of the RLB) and also a new decal was placed on these helmets. It changed from a voluntary service to a compulsory one in 1943 and women were from then on not to be excluded.
The label reads:
Maximum price 8 ReichsmarkSale permittedIn according with paragraph 8 of the Air Protection ActHead width 56Here's a link to paragraph 8 of that Act which was passed in 1935:http://download.gsb.bund.de/BBK/BBKNV193507.PDF making it mandatory to get permission from the Reichminister for Air Traffic or such persons approved by him to grant such permission before a variety of activities involving the Luftschutzbund can be carried out by a member of the organisation

You might have sent it and I apologise for not receiving your message - We have had 18 "engineers" here and No 19 coming on Friday. Your sarcastic comment was not needed.

Sorry it arrived before yours.
We have awful broadband problems with EE so lost in the ether. -
