have a house for sale, 4 bed detachted, priced to sell as I don't live there anymore, when I'm in that area (about 1 week in 4) use it as a base, sleep over, cook meals, had someone viewing the other day, they made an offer, not enough for me, estate agent phoned me up today, with their "last and final offer" again still not enough, told them to ask for another £3000 and its theirs. wow, did the estate agent push for me to accept this "last and final offer" I mean was at me for 10 minutes trying to get me to accept, is this normal practice?. I though with me being the one who pays them , on commision, that they would want to sell at the higher price, got another viewing tomorrow thinking of sacking this agent and going elsewhere

used tesco to fill up my ml for years, thought I would try the shell v max or bp ultimate, see if it makes an improvement, its had 1 fill of v max, last 3 fills of bt ultimate, made no difference, getting the same mpg, 28.1 - 29.7mpg, done the old fashioned way litres/ 4.54= gallons, thought the engine pulled and felt smoother, but don't know if that is just wishfull thinking, smells different, will continue to try for another couple of fillups, will try to put shell v max in for them

have used AVG and Avast in the past, had major problems with both, either power hungry or trojans, last time the pc ended up with the local pc guru, he recommended ESET so went with that, less than £20 a year works great, I find its worth paying that for peace of mind it

3-in-one oil for what needs oiling, 3-in-one professional silicone lubricant spray for the exterior of the barrels, use it as a moisture repellent, 3-in-one professional white lithium grease spray for what needs greasing, the 3-in-one brand is just what they had in stock at stax

read on Bloomburg that Panasonic are stopping their plasma TV's next year, so there won't be any more of them, stuck in my mind because I have their full HD Freesat 42" plasma, brilliant picture and sound, not seen or heard anything better, apart from B & O

have had quotes to send varying from £25 to £55, one RFD has 2 shops, was £25 at one, £35 at the other, one place told me it costs them £10 for the courier, another that their carrier was parcelforce, was also told by someone that guns can only be sent via 24 hour delivery, not 48 hour, asked also about if it went missing in transit, the insurance cover was up to £25,000 I think, if the charge is over £25 they just don't want the hassle of doing it

ruined a McCullock through running weak, just for the sake of not doing the correct mix, bought a huskie now, run that on aspen 2 stroke pre mix, use only good two stroke oil, not one of those that is just a general 2 stoke oil
-
bought an UltraFire WF501B of the bay, arrived this week, it was cheap, less than £4, but its a fake, machining quality is poor as is the paint finish and lettering, have bought one before using DaveG's link in his post, that is well finished, bought this one just as a general torch so not that bothered, just a heads up,

remember us renting a black and white tv, elder step brother was in the Grenadier Guards lining the route at the coronation, half the street came to watch front room was packed, didn't have a lot of toys, played out all the time

tried a few pints of the draught porter at a pub in Anglesey, it was ok, would rather have Thwaites's Mild, draught or Tesco sell the cans

forgot to mention, do not oil the chequering, or it will fill, I used an old toothbrush to go over it very lightly with the oil just for protection

had the same problem with my Beretta, had a word with the dealer I bought from, they recommended CCL Gunstock Conditioning Oil, I used a very fine nylon sanding pad to rub the water marks off, then put lots of coats of the Conditioning Oil on until the grain was filled, then I polished with the CCL Fine Wax Polish, looks good people have remarked on the finish and it does bring out the grain in the wood, shows every new dent and scratch though, I'm just not carefull enough
