  1. All well and good..........if your ear canal is not large enough to take the CENS II system, you may be restricted to the earlier CENS solid model. I ended up with standard BLUE/RED in Digital flex CENS II, you know which ear they go in! I can see the point of the GLOW in the dark as you can see them easier, particularly if you have colour issues with your sight. Cool colours won't improve your shooting or hearing :-)! Good luck.
  2. The stub pins unscrew with an Allen key. Heat gently with a hair-dryer as they were usually fitted with a screw fixing compound, unscrew and remove. If your barrels are loose, you could swap them over and refit! But only do this once. Refit with a screw fixing compound like 'nut-lock'. hey presto. Just as an aside, you may find them a bit resistant to your wishes, so prepare to give them a grunt!! regards
  3. Diesel, diesel, diesel every time.........if you heat the barrels do not get too close to top rib or centre.....silver solder does not like too much heat!!
  4. As appears on previous, the MK60,70 and MK38 are all derivatives of previous models, for example; the Miroku 800 became the 3800 which became the MK38. The ORE 600 became the 6000, which became the MK60. Miroku modelled their range on the early Browning. But have re-tooled and re-modelled their actions, therfore earlier barrels wont fit later actions. It is all about comfort and particular use. I use MK38 g5 sporter and trap guns. Tried everything including SO grade Berettas and wasted money on route. And yes I would shed tears if I bang the stocks, so I take care. Also have a fabulous 800SW skeet which I can't shoot! hence for sale on these pages. For game I borrow a 7000 grade 3 multi 28 inch, great gun, superb handling........ handle a few, try different barrel lengths, 32inch is a big barrel for sporting clays on a Miroku, it is your pref that counts.
  5. I HAVE USED THE DEBEN AND KEEP AS BACK UP NOW FOR FRIENDS AND FAMILY. GREAT TO USE AND COMFORTABLE. I DID MARK THE 'OFF' POSITION WITH DABS OF PAINT, OR YOU WILL EAT BATTERIES! IF YOU CAN HANG ON AND SAVE A BIT, GO FOR CUSTOM FIT, YOU WILL NEVER LOOK BACK! GOOD LUCK OLDBILL
  6. As above, correct, I have owned both and interchanged stocks. Forend won't fit though. good luck.
