  1. Hi. Wondering if you can help me out. I have just moved to the High Wycombe area and was looking for some advice on shooting grounds. At this stage I am still practicing, so want somewhere I can turn up and do just that. I have driven to Bisley a couple of times, but its too far and to be honest out of my price range. The local place is EJ Churchill and that is most definitely way north of my budget! Can anyone out there recommend somewhere friendly that someone in dire need of some practice can go to? Thanks
  2. PM sent. BTW I have spent a day with with Elby before and can say that he does everything possible to make it the best possible experience. If like me you are stuck living in a city and working full time its impossible to get your own permissions. To pay £80 for someone to do this for you is no-brainer in my opinion.
  3. I have said this before, but living where I do it is impossible to get permissions. Elby offering deals like this are my lifeline to a great day out. I've not been shooting with Elby, but I did book earlier in the year, however he was decent enough to call me the day before to say that there weren't any pigeons and he would rather not take my money. I have since been trying to find the time to go rebook, but haven't been able to - Elby you can rest assured that as soon as I can I will call. There are others on this site who will charge double, then make promises of a free day because of poor shooting and then subsequently not respond to emails - shame really.
  4. PM sent. I think this is a great opportunity. I simply don't have the time to get my own permissions so offers like this work perfectly for me.
  5. Had a day with Snozzer on Saturday - guided as this was the first time I had been Pigeon Shooting. Was a fantastic day and I learnt an awful lot - it was worth every penny and I will definitely be going back. Not too many Pigeons around, but thems are the breaks - it also wasn't helped by my inability to hit any of them. Still none of that was Snozzers fault.
  6. short drive compared to heading to Scotland Bisley looks to be just the thing I'm looking for - you been there before? Does it tend to get very busy at the weekends? Any recommendation on what a good time to turn up would be. Cheers
  7. Hi, I've just bought myself a Beretta 686e and am keen to practice - does anyone know of a good Clay shooting place where I can just go and practice? I live in South West London, so anything along the M3, M4 or M40 would be ideal.
  8. Sadly due to snow it was cancelled, but will rebook ASAP. On the upside I did buy a gun I've my eyes on for a while, Beretta 686e black, cant wait to practice with it.
  9. Thanks for all the welcomes, I will let you know how I get on but am sure it will be great.
  10. Never been Pigeon Shooting before and have booked a day with Snozzer this Saturday and very much looking forward to it, although I believe it might be a little on the cold side though!
  11. Hi, Did you have any other pictures? Could you email them to me if so. Thanks Alasdair
