Built myself a little trolley this afternoon to carry all my kit now. I got an old carp trolley for £20 and fixed a bow on the bottom for the magnets and flapper, cartridges and batteries .. on top is my bag with nets and decoys,, hide poles and floaters straped to the main upright along with my 2 pro flappers for the magnet,, hoplefully this will work..

Evening all, hope everyone got what they wanted for Xmas and had a good day!!! Just wondering what you all do you in your hide,, do you stand or sit???. i started off by sitting but found that getting up and down from the seat was hurting my knees, so I now make my hide higher and stand all the time,, I know some won’t be able to do this but wanted to know what other do 🔫🐦🐦

We have just taken on some more land which is in HLS and part of it involves supplementary feeding,, Iam using a slug pelleter on the quad at the mo with some baffle plates on so its not spread to far, Which Iam doing 3 times a week,, Just wondering if anyone else is doing it and how they feed it ??

I have 2 game covers that run along side a mature wood and a plantation both of which I drive together, do I concentrate on feeding my game crops to keep the birds in them or feed in the wood as well. Last year when we drove it the birds was mostly in the woods.

All my feeders are in the centre of the farm in my cover crops,, Iam not out to get our neighbours birds,, , I can't help it if the birds wandering over.. Both keepers know there birds have wandered over which we all joke about. And also I did say that my partridges where the wandering.. My grey partridges that is which has taken me 5 years to get up to the numbers I have,,

Well I see it as a bit of give and take.. I have seen a few coveys of partridge's on my side of the hedge 1 day, on the other the next..

Not had a day yet as it is the first year of us trying to set up a wild bird shoot.. We had a few broods and have managed to entice a lot of birds from the neighbours shoot,, hoping to have a day soon working out how to drive drives and place guns,, so I will keep you posted,,
