I guessed 75 and 100 wouldn't be far off each other. Most of the quarry I encounter are around 60 to 80, so I thought 75 is a nice compromise.

Done a search for 75 yds zero trajectory for a .17 hmr with 17g hornady v max, on web and this site. Can't find one all seem to be 100 yds or more. Can anyone be kind enough to point me in the right direction or work one out for me out to 150 yds. Thanks in advance.

Cheers Velocette, very kind offer. I'll have a browse of Ant Supplies and the araldite route. I have the same model in .22 or and .17 hmr. The stock bolts that connect to the action are in different positions on each gun. I don't know if there is a recess for the bolt option swivel attachment . Although both 452's and model Style which is nickel plated with plastic stock, there is no model name on the .22, but the .17 is stamped American. The Style is exactly the same as the Silhouette model which has blued metal rather than nickel.

I've done many searches but to no avail. The screw for sling swivel on my CZ452 Style model ( nickel plated and plastic stock ) is loose and wanting to undo. I emailed Sportsman Gun Centre who are now the importers to ask their advice. They said that there is a nut and bolt version for the front, but the rear will need to be re drilled with a bigger thread. They wouldn't commit themselves to suggest an adhesive. Does anyone know where this nut bolt up grade is available ? Or an adhesive to suit ? And an oversized screw in ? I'm using at the moment 1 inch Uncle Mike's fittings.

I posted a while back asking who watched the soaps. Went to Majorca in May, when I got back the weather was so glorious I didn't want to be stuck in the house. So, ever since I have not watched any soaps.

In ours appointments are only taken over the phone at certain times of the day. Invariably, when you try to phone they are all gone. But you can book a routine one for weeks ahead again by phone. So, some patients who are not knowing this when told at the desk about the set up and unable to get an appointment direct from the receptionist, stand back from the desk and while looking at the receptionist phones her and gets an appointment. I kid you not.

Everybody are really fed up with these Just Stop Oil idiots, why are the government so tolerant ? Why don't they get the water cannons out , or police dogs ? My brother's doorbell push button has stopped working. He assumes it's the push button rather than anything else in the circuit. It's AC wired into the house. I'm assuming there is a difference between AC and DC types, am I correct ? If so, can anyone suggest a brand / model that could be fitted as an exchange.

I know it's the sign of the times, and all things are crazy prices, but at those prices the readership are going to dwindle. They are like any other company struggling to cover costs. I notice W H Smith's tend to put them now in the lowest shelf they can find. While Tesco seems to have only literally about 2 or 3 copies each month and most newsagents don't stock copies at all. I do enjoy reading some of them, I know some of the stuff in it is just last year's story using different words, sort of same old same old type of thing, but they do keep you updated on new products. Sporting Rifle disappeared, so let's hope what's left can weather the storm. What really sticks in my gut is, as mentioned above it's the current climate of high prices to survive. But how many shops bow to so called antis views, antis who have just jumped on the bandwagon and don't really know or care what they are supposed to be supporting.
