I used to work with some right food coneseurs. I can remember one woman only ate cold baked beans and white bread virtually every meal even at home, another every dinner time only had double portion Brussel sprouts , another used to crave the skin from canteen made rice pudding the more burnt the better, and a bloke who put so much salt on his food it turned white.

I love " whatever is in the fridge " recepies, done in a wok. Into balsamic vinegar at the moment. A really nice and quick meal is :- cut up leek put in microwave for 2 or 3 minutes . Cheese over the top,back in microwave for 1 or 2 minutes. Coarse black pepper over it. Beautiful.

I use a picatinny on the .223 and the mount on the Alpex doesn't come off, Hawke quick detach. The AA s200 has a dovetail to picatinny adapter set. I just remember which slots they go back to and seem ok. On the quick detach mounts, you have to remember not to undo the clamps too much as the spring fall out. I think you are asking about the more expensive set up options, forget the brand's names at the moment, but check the gun make as I think some manufacturers do what you are after specific for their guns.

I take it back to zero mounts are super duper expensive, and supposed to do what it says on the tin. Would picatinny rail set up be no good. If it's good enough for Rips260 and the like ? , he seems to do ok. I swap an Alpex between .223 and sub 12 air, but I don't shoot much past 100 yds.

I have a 48 inch hard plastic, egg shell foam lined case. Single scoped rifle case for sale used literally once , but I don't know an asking price. Am I allowed to seek advice on price or is this not allowed under forum rules ? If this is removed I'll take it as a no.

Free of charge, postage only ( about £5 ), my brother's well used leather cartridge belt, 25-12g. Been in his shed for years, gone a bit mouldy but useable, thought it would be good for wildfowler. About 34 X 43 inch waist. GONE

Usually buy the mag from shops, and noticed that the June edition did not have the next editions date to come out in it on the last page, as was usual. July edition has not appeared in shops. Just phoned the mag and was told it is now a 2 monthly edition. Thought they would have mentioned something to the readership in the June edition that this was happening.

I have found 2 racers dead , first one was hit by a car, second hawk attack. Both had rings. When it came up in conversation with a pigeon racer they to said any bird late coming home would be no good to them and got rid of.

I decided to have a look inside my Sak moderator that I have only ever used on my .22 lr, first time after years of use, not heavy use mind. I tapped out loose dry bits, then brushed inside baffles with nylon brush. Gave it a spray and wipe with WD40 but there are still some staining. Question is, can I use something like Hoppes 009 or similar to see if I can get a bit more cleaner. All in all, still good condition and working well, signs of where heat has done its thing as to be expected.

For anyone interested. I had the " time lapse " feature set to ON. It should be OFF for normal videoing. Time lapse, is a feature used when watching a flower grow for example. It takes single pics at intervals and joins them like a fast video. First time to use new camera, but this wasn't a feature on my old one.

I got some Ultrafire from years ago, in a purple sleeve. When I charge any 18650 I put the charger on a metal tray and keep an eye on them.

Just noticed on the stickered IMR ones it states 3400 mAh ( as supposed to be ), but on the un-stickered NCR ones there is no mention. Hmmmm, lesson learnt.
