personally we are worcester accredited installers and my advise to you would be to pay a bit more buddy and not regret it later but before you spend any money get a bucket with measurements in it and run your sink cold tap or bath cold tap in to it for one minute exactly . this will give you a rough idea of you flow rate (there are variables,time of day etc) and then buy the suitable size of boiler for your flow rate there is no point paying for a 35 kw boiler with 15 litre a minute capability if you only have 8 litre a minute water flow atb monster

please dont insult the vaillant by comparing it to the cxi ,the only thing these boilers share is a similar heat exchanger ,the diverter valves are different and changing just the head will make no difference what so ever. the internals of the diverter will need changing which is not an easy job and will need doing by a profesional the reason the diverter is playing up will be due to iron oxide deposits in the system and nothing you can blame your service engineer for,its either yours or the prevous house owners fault for having a budget boiler and no magnetic filter fitted .

hi does the wood burner heat a hot water cylinder as well as the rads , if so there should be an injector tee on the return from the cylinder and a low limit stat on the return which controls when the pump turns on . do you know if the system has ever worked properly as if its incorrectly set up you are on a hiding to nothing. gravity hot water systems arent the norm anymore and take some knowledge to get them right. monster

not really enough info buddy what is the starting pressure what does it go up to when hot where is the water being dumped is the prv leaking and is it constant trickle or all in one go what is the age and model of combi at a guess the pressure vessel has lost its charge and the system pressure is building up while heating and releasing through the prv ,once cooled the system pressure will be low but cant be sure without more info

according to clarkson they cant be classed as a 4 wheel drive going by recent experiance bmw 's are very expensive when they go wrong good luck monster

hi all ,looking for some pointers i have a room with 2 ceiling speakers that i want to connect up to a music system /amplifier so that i can play music from the ipad /ipod etc and connect the sky box looked at several but not many seem to have speaker outlets i am looking at the sonos setup but i am reluctant to pay £300 for one ,is there a comparable sytem thanks all monster

i just got the sony xperia z1 great phone and its water proof which is always a bonus for us shooting guys with all the rain,and rivers we come into contact with ,my kids all have i phones but i think they are a fashion statement as they all complain about them playing up

i had a series buddy and whilst i did love it i was constantly repairing or replacing parts and even though i didnt use it a lot getting 12 to the gallon and bunging 20 quid in it every time i went to the shoot was getting very boring . mine wasnt tax exempt and i sold it on ebay for 3.5k within 20 mins of listing it, if it had been tax exempt you could add at least another grand to that price. i sold it and bought an l200 for the same money and it goes anywhere my series went only with more comfort an close to three times the economy. atb monster

with three to four grand i cant see you getting much for your money with a defender or a jeep wrangler ,anything worth having is gonna be quite a bit more than that ,you obviously have expensive tastes buddy ,good luck with whatever you get. you would get a fairly nice disco with that money though .

i bought one late 54 plate and it was an absolute night mare from the day i picked it up to the day i sold it on at a substantial loss 16 months later brake lines rotted away and cant get at them without a lot of removal of other parts 5 of the heater plugs went ,snapped off in head and 2500 pound bill back door lock works when it feels like hand brake has mind of its own fuel lines leaking egr valves played up it eats batteries in my opinion i wouldnt wish a d3 on my worst enemy after all that i took it in for a recall anended up with another 1500 pound bill for various faults paid 12k for it and most local dealers wouldnt touch it as a part ex after 16 months the best offer i had was 5k total cost after 16 months ,i cant say cos it makes me cry.
